Research On The Teaching Ancient Poetry In Junior High School Based On Scaffolded Teaching Model

As an important part of Chinese excellent traditional culture,ancient poetry has high literary value,historical value and artistic value,which can not only improve students’ aesthetic ability,but also enrich students’ spiritual world and edify their sentiment.The teaching of ancient poetry plays an important role in the teaching of chinese in junior middle school.However,it is difficult for junior middle school students to study ancient poetry because of its ancient age,concise language,and rich heritage,etc.How to use more effective teaching methods for teaching ancient poetry has become an important issue for front-line teachers to think about and explore.As one of the more mature teaching modes under constructivist theory,scaffolding has been increasing year by year and has attracted the attention of more and more colleagues in the education field.The combination of scaffolding instruction with the teaching of middle school ancient poetry can not only enhance students’ interest in learning,improve their thinking ability,but also cultivate elegant esthetic taste and improve core literacy in an all-round way.Based on the combination of previous research results,the paper discusses the application strategies of scaffolding instruction mode in teaching ancient poetry in middle school by using literature research and case studies,and the paper mainly includes five parts.Part Ⅰ: Introduces the origin,significance,present situation and methods of research on the selection of topics.Part Ⅱ: Based on the literature review,the thesis defines the concepts of "scaffolding","scaffolding instruction","ancient poetry" and "ancient poetry teaching"."It also explains the theoretical basis of scaffolding instruction from constructivism theory,"zone of proximal development" theory,and situation learning theory to provide theoretical support for this study.Part Ⅲ: Six important types of scaffolds in teaching ancient poetry are proposed.The "metrical scaffolding" and "recitation scaffolding" help students read through and read accurately the ancient poetry;the "background scaffolding" and "allusion scaffolding " help students understand the general meaning of the poetry;"contrast scaffolding" and "emotional scaffolding" help students appreciate the emotions of the poetry.Part Ⅳ: According to the scaffolding instruction model proposed by Prof.He Ke-kou,the teaching of ancient poems is divided into three aspects: grasping the learning situation and preparing scaffolding","building scaffolding and creating context",and "migration and extension and effect evaluation".The thesis is divided into three aspects: "grasping the learning situation,preparing the scaffold","building the scaffold,creating the context","transferring and extending,evaluating the effect",and discussing with specific teaching cases.Part Ⅴ: On the basis of summarizing this thesis,the limitation of this paper are analyzed and the future research directions are prospected.
