School physical education is a basic project to realize the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating people and improve students’ physical quality.Scientific training methods can play a positive role in enhancing students’ physical quality and realizing students’ physical and mental health development.The standing triple leapfrog is a jumping event that tests the explosive power of students’ lower limbs,the coherence of their upper and lower limbs,and the coordination of their bodies.At present,many places across the country have set the standing triple leapfrog as one of the items in the middle school entrance examination.However,in the teaching practice of the standing triple leapfrog,there are some problems,such as the single teaching method of teachers,the lack of technical action analysis,and the insufficient attention to the core strength of the students’ body,which not only affect the important role of the standing triple leapfrog in improving the students’ physical quality,but also make the students fear and even tired of the standing triple leapfrog,and ultimately it is difficult to achieve the educational goal of students’ physical and mental health development.Therefore,this study applies the core strength training to the standing triple leapfrog raining of junior high school students,and discusses the training effect of the core strength training applied to the standing triple leapfrog teaching,so as to improve the students’ physical performance in the middle school entrance examination and provide a reference basis for further development of students’ physical quality.This thesis mainly adopts the methods of literature review,expert interview,questionnaire survey,teaching experiment,mathematical statistics and logical analysis.80 students from two classes of Grade 3 of Biyi Experimental School in Guangzhou were selected as participants,and they were divided into two groups.Class 3 of Grade3 was the experimental class,and Class 2 of Grade 3 was the control class.The experimental class was given core strength training for 12 weeks,while the control class was given traditional strength training.After 12 weeks of experimental intervention,the core strength index,special physical quality index,standing triple leapfrog scores and scores of students in the two classes were compared.The research results are as follows:(1)From the core strength index test results: after the experiment,there were significant differences in the 1-minute sit-up scores of boys(P<0.01)and the 1-minute weighted sit-ups scores(P<0.05).There were significant differences in the 1-minute sit-ups and 1-minute weighted sit-ups of girls(P<0.05).(2)From the results of the special physical fitness index test: after the experiment,there were significant differences between the two classes of boys standing long jump and front throwing solid ball(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in touch height between 50 m running and standing jump(P>0.05);Girls only threw solid ball in front of the ground had a significant difference(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the other three aspects.(3)From the results and scores of the standing triple leapfrog test: there was a significant difference between the two classes after the experiment(P<0.05),and the experimental class improved better than the control class;It can also be seen from the students’ scores that the scores of students in the experimental class improved significantly compared with those in the control class.(4)After 12 weeks of core strength training,most of the students were very interested in adding core strength training to the standing triple leapfrog teaching,while a few were not so interested.Most students thought that core strength training were effective to improve the performance of standing triple leapfrog.Conclusion:(1)Applying core strength training to the physical education for senior high school entrance examination can better improve the students’ muscle endurance and muscle explosive power.(2)Both core strength training and traditional strength training can improve students’ special quality in standing triple leapfrog.But the improvement effect of core strength training is better than that of traditional strength training.(3)Compared with traditional strength training,adding core strength training to physical education classroom teaching can better improve students’ standing triple leapfrog performance.(4)Adding core strength training to physical education classroom teaching can enrich training means,enhance students’ enthusiasm and interest in class,and promote the improvement of students’ physical education scores in high school entrance examination.
