Purpose: High school students are in a sensitive period of development of physical fitness.Adopting a scientifically appropriate training method can effectively improve the athletic performance of college students.this study focuses on the existing problems and causes of improved sports performance of third-year students. Methods: The research methods used in this article include the experimental method, the expert interview method and the mathematical statistics method.Ninety-six students from two classes in grade 3 of no.10 college in Haigang District,Qinhuangdao city,Hebei Province were selected and divided into an experimental group(n=48)using the basic strength training method and a control group(n=48)using the traditional strength training method. Results: Significant differences(P<0.05)were observed before and after the trials between the students in the experimental group in the basic force indicators for the 1-minute sit-up,the graduated side bridge and the fill balloon.Central control of the indicators before and after the experiment to leave one minute abdos and achievements Shi Xin Qiu,significance differences(P<0.05)results get bridge ranking, there is no significant difference(P>0.05),experimental group before Shi Xin Qiu in the specific indicators of students,a jump to run around the bar, achievements in a football match significant differences were observed(P<0.05).Students’ experience in the experimental and control group after one minute abdos indicators of leaning forces, leaving Shi Xin Qiu lateral and bridge ranking differences in significance(P<0.05),Shi Xin Qiu indicators at achievement and jump, differences in significance(P<0.05),while football around achievements,no significant difference was observed(P >0.05).Conclusions: 1.To a certain extent, introducing core strength training into solid ball and standing long jump events in the high school entrance examination is more conducive to improving the performance of solid ball and standing long jump of junior high school students than traditional strength training, and the training effect is remarkable.2.In the football stick running project, the scores of students in the experimental group and the control group were improved compared with those before the experiment, and there was no significantdifference.3.Compared with the traditional strength training, the core strength training is more conducive to improving the scores of one-minute sit-up,gradedbridge and side throwing solid ball of junior and third grade students, and the training effect is remarkable.
