In the context of the growing popularity of campus football,the upsurge of children’s football activities is rising.Children’s football is an important part of campus football as well as its basic part.The fundamental purpose of its development is consistent with that of campus football,aiming at educating people.The development of children’s football game teaching activities returns to the essence of kindergarten games,attaches importance to children’s experience and feelings in the teaching process,and enables children to participate actively.This research adopts a series of research methods,such as expert interview,questionnaire,field investigation and experiment,and takes the football game teaching activities of 9 kindergartens in Zengcheng District,Guangzhou City as the research object to understand the current situation and problems of children’s football game teaching activities in Zengcheng District,Guangzhou City.Through summary and induction,the specific implementation plan of children’s football game teaching activities was designed,and 40 children in Zhongda Kindergarten in Zengcheng District,Guangzhou City were taken as the research objects for experimental intervention,and a three-month teaching experiment was designed.According to the Children’s Part of the National Constitution Measurement Standard,six indicators of children’s physical quality and six indicators of mental health in the Lester’s Mental Health Measurement Questionnaire for Children were selected for testing.Finally,SPSS statistical software was used for statistical analysis of the data to explore the physical quality development and mental health level of children before and after the experiment.The experimental results show that:1.After 12 weeks of intervention in children’s football game activities,the six physical quality standards and mental health scores of children participating in football game activities had a positive impact.The test results were significantly different from those of the control group(P<0.05).2.The football game teaching activities for children have a positive effect on the development of children’s speed quality,strength quality,speed quality,sensitivity quality and explosive power.However,there was no significant improvement in walking on the balance beam and sitting forward bending.3.After the intervention of teaching experiment,the six indicators that reflect children’s psychology have been significantly improved,improving children’s movement field,emotion and will,helping children establish good self-confidence,especially in cognitive ability and social aspects.Therefore,participating in children’s football games is an effective way to promote children’s mental health.Through teaching in the context of education and entertainment,through the game,compared with the regular model curriculum,it can trigger children’s interest in participation,improve children’s attention duration in the learning process,and effectively improve children’s physical quality.Therefore,this paper believes that the development of football games is conducive to the development of physical and mental health of 4-5 year old children.
