Research On The Embedded Development Of Social Work Stations From The Perspective Of Action Researc

In recent years,with the transformation of government functions and the increase in social demand,social work stations sprung up as the times require.According to policy requirements,the Guizhou Provincial Department of Civil Affairs had issued relevant documents to encourage the pilot construction of social work and volunteer service stations.By the end of 2021,18 social work stations in G City,Guizhou Province had been officially operational.At the initial stage of construction,I was fortunate to become an intern at the L Street Social Work Station in G City,and entered the practical field of the social work station to provide services.I witnessed firsthand that the L Street Social Work Station has gradually embedded itself in the field of street civil affairs services and made contributions to grassroots services,gradually gaining recognition and praise from the streets,communities,and residents from its initial "service not being valued" to "receiving recognition and actively seeking help" to "win-win cooperation between both parties.".Researchers believed that social work stations are a new model of social work serving the community,with many experiences and phenomena to be explored and summarized.Therefore,this study took the development of embeddedness of L Street social work stations as the entry point,and used the method of action research to survey,explore,reflect,and refine the process of embeddedness development of social work stations.The study found that social work stations play a role in the field of street civil affairs services through the embedding of professional relationships,the embedding of service content,and the adoption of measures to consolidate the embedding effect.They alleviated the pressure on grassroots civil affairs service personnel,supplemented their insufficient service capabilities,and gradually form a positive interaction with the streets and communities.The popularity of social work stations in the neighborhood had also expanded,and the embedding of L Street social work stations had been developed.However,in the process of embedding action practice in social work stations,research had found that social work stations’ unclear self positioning,insufficient professional capabilities,and high frequency of personnel turnover can affect the effectiveness of embedding development.Therefore,during the embedding process,social work stations needed to clarify their responsibilities,maintained relative professional independence,continuously improved their professional capabilities,and developed long-term action plans to reduce the impact of talent flow frequency on the embedding effect,thereby promoting the better development of social work station embedding.
