Practical Research On Family Social Work Intervention To Improve Bad Parent-child Relationshi

Under the background of drastic changes in population proportion and family structure,more diverse family problems have emerged.Among them,the occurrence of bad parent-child relationship in the family is becoming more and more common.Parent-child relationship is the most basic family relationship,which has an important impact on children’s character development and interpersonal communication.Bad parent-child relationship means that the special close relationship between parents and children is destroyed,which may bring potential harm to the growth of children and the stability of the family.At present,the research on unhealthy parent-child relationship mainly focuses on homogeneity and seldom pays attention to individual needs.Therefore,from the perspective of family social work,this study adopts the method of case work to intervene in the problem of family dysfunctional parent-child relationship,improve parent-child relationship and restore family function.This paper takes a family in Y community of Kashgar City as the research object and collects data by interviewing.By analyzing the data,it concludes that the family has some problems,such as lack of elasticity of boundaries,low quality of parent-child interaction,poor parent-child communication and incorrect family education.Based on this,the author takes the family system theory as the theoretical basis and the structural family therapy model as the interventional means to help the family solve the problem of bad parent-child relationship and improve the quality of parent-child interaction.The service includes the four steps of joining the family and establishing professional relationship,analyzing the problems of the service object,formulating and implementing intervention plan and professional evaluation.This study found that family social work has positive effects and unique advantages on improving the unhealthy parent-child relationship.Social workers use the structural family therapy mode to intervene the case family,restore the elasticity of the family system boundary,input communication skills,improve the quality of family education,and enrich the content of parent-child interaction.After intervention,the quality of parent-child interaction has been significantly improved,the frequency of parent-child communication has increased,and the boundary of the secondary system is clear.The successful intervention of family social work in the unhealthy parent-child relationship proves that the social work profession can play a positive professional advantage in solving this problem.This calls for people to pay attention to parent-child relationship and family health,pay attention to the change of family structure,create a good space for children to grow up,and provides experience for family social work to intervene in parent-child relationship issues.
