| The ideological and political theory course is the main channel for implementing the fundamental task of "cultivating morality and cultivating people",and is an important course for implementing socialist core value education.Teachers of ideological and political theory courses are not only advocates of the Party’s theory,line,and policies,but also guides the healthy growth of college students.Since the18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,with the development of the times and the implementation of the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents,higher requirements have been put forward for ideological and political theory courses and their teaching teachers in universities.However,there are still certain shortcomings in the team of ideological and political course teachers in universities,as some lack sufficient understanding and recognition of their roles,which urgently needs to be addressed.Based on the analysis of teacher interviews,it was found that the current status of role identification among ideological and political theory course teachers in universities is generally showing a positive and upward trend.The vast majority of ideological and political theory course teachers have significantly improved their confidence in their roles,greatly enhanced their sense of role acquisition,and strong expectations for role development.However,there are also some ideological and political course teachers who do not fully match their personal qualities and roles,The role balance in career development is not sufficient,and some teachers deviate from the requirements in their role-playing.Research suggests that the reasons for the poor role identity of some ideological and political theory course teachers from a macro perspective are the drastic social changes and external high role expectations,which have increased the impact and pressure on the role identity of ideological and political theory course teachers.From a meso perspective,it is the unreasonable institutional structure of universities that weakens the role identity of ideological and political theory course teachers,From a micro perspective,the professional literacy and teaching ability of ideological and political theory course teachers still need to be improved in order to adapt to the higher requirements of the new era.The research conclusion indicates that improving the role identity of ideological and political theory teachers in universities requires starting from three dimensions:society,universities,and individuals.Society needs to face up to the status of ideological and political theory course teachers in universities,and ensure the supply of resources for ideological and political theory course teachers to meet their development needs.Universities should advocate a comprehensive,scientific,and developmental evaluation and incentive mechanism,attach importance to vocational training for ideological and political theory course teachers,and provide a professional platform for their development.Teachers of ideological and political theory courses in universities also need to adjust their role cognition,learn theoretical knowledge,improve professional literacy,and focus on teaching innovation.The improvement of the role identification of teachers in ideological and political theory courses in universities provides new impetus for the discipline construction of Marxist basic theory,broadens the perspective of discipline construction in ideological and political theory courses,and innovatively deepens the teaching of ideological and political theory courses. |
