The report of the Party’s 20 th National Congress emphasizes that inheriting and carrying forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture is not only the natural meaning of enhancing cultural confidence and building a strong socialist culture,but also the mainstream of The Times.Cheerleading events are booming in China.As a sports event,jazz cheerleading combined with Chinese elements of traditional Chinese culture has broad space for innovation and development.Jazz cheerleading,with its unique jazz style of dance movements and beautiful sports features of cultivating students’ teamwork spirit,makes primary and secondary schools and colleges become the main reserve force for the development of cheerleading.Under the background of the new college entrance examination,emphasis should be placed on the organic combination of ancient poetry teaching and comprehensive subjects in senior high school,so as to comprehensively develop the comprehensive quality of senior high school students.The choreography combining Chinese elements to develop cheerleading is gradually emerging in China,but the phenomenon of jazz cheerleading choreography with ancient poetry and new songs is less.This paper adopts the method of literature,expert interview,questionnaire survey,teaching experiment,data statistics and logical analysis.Mainly through the teaching experiment method,48 middle school students aged 15-17 years old in the second grade of high school in Guangzhou Union Middle School were selected as the experimental objects,and the experimental group and the control group were randomly assigned the same number of people,and the teaching experiment lasted for16 weeks.Among them,the experimental group studied "Song of the Pipa" in a complete set,interspersed with the teaching of ancient poetry and new songs in the teaching process,while the control group studied "Guangdong Province Students’ Jazz Cheerleading Routine of the First Level",which was taught through two different types of background music in English and Chinese.The teaching process was no different from the conventional jazz cheerleading teaching.The effect of two training modes on the skill cognition and interest of 15-17 year old high school jazz cheerleading athletes was analyzed.The results are as follows:1.The integration of ancient poetry and new songs into jazz cheerleading teaching and traditional jazz cheerleading teaching have positive effects on the improvement of students’ physical quality and special skills.However,under the two different teaching methods,there are significant differences in students’ cognition and interest in the new songs of ancient poetry with Chinese classical cultural elements.2.It is feasible to integrate ancient poetry and new songs with jazz cheerleading teaching.Different from conventional background music training and complete teaching,it is more helpful to improve students’ comprehensive quality,develop students’ sense of physical strength,artistic beauty of posture,perception of thought,and stimulate students’ cultural confidence.3.In the long river of time,the new songs of ancient poetry have been constantly innovated and reformed.Combined with the sound music features of jazz cheerleading,such as varied rhythm,clear drum beat,strong sense of rhythm,appropriate speed,strong sense of melody and prominent part of melody,and the use of various sound systems to create a variety of timbre,the music of the national style has been formed.
