The Standards for Chinese Curriculum in Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)for the first time put forward the core competency of "cultural self-confidence" and placed it at the top of the four core competencies,and attached great importance to "cultural self-confidence",on the basis of which how to cultivate students’ attitude of cultural self-confidence through school education is crucial.As a cultural treasure condensed by the Chinese nation for thousands of years,ancient poetry carries cultural self-confidence elements such as "Chinese traditional virtues","core ideological concepts" and "Chinese humanistic spirit",and guides students to form a correct understanding of the cultural self-confidence elements contained in ancient poetry through the teaching of ancient poetry,and cultivates students’ awareness of cultural self-confidence is more and more concerned by teachers.In order to help teachers deeply explore the elements of cultural self-confidence in the teaching of ancient poetry and effectively carry out cultural self-confidence education,this study constructs an analysis framework for cultural self-confidence elements of primary school ancient poetry with good reliability and validity by reading relevant policy documents and existing research materials,according to the relevant classification of language curriculum standards,and analyzes the presentation of cultural confidence elements in primary school Chinese textbooks based on the framework,and finds that the arrangement of ancient poetry textbooks in textbooks pays attention to the general process of students’ cultural self-confidence.The content of ancient poetry is typical and rich;Presenting the content with the theme of the unit and creating conditions for cultural self-confidence education.At the same time,this study uses questionnaire survey method and classroom observation method to investigate,and finds that there is a general lack of cultural self-confidence education in the current teaching of ancient poetry in primary schools,which is mainly manifested as: utilitarian teaching goal setting,ignoring the educational value of ancient poetry;The teaching process attaches importance to the transfer of knowledge and ignores students’ emotional and cultural experience;Teaching methods are single and outdated,ignoring students’ cultural learning needs;The teaching content is boring and the traditional culture is not fully explored;The teaching evaluation standard is single,ignoring the cultivation of students’ cultural self-confidence and other issues.The author calls for the teaching of Chinese and ancient poetry in primary schools to break through the shackles of shallowness and realize the cultivation of students’ cultural confidence.To this end,teachers can understand the cultural connotation by digging deep into the elements of cultural confidence in ancient poetry;Innovate ancient poetry teaching methods and understand the unique culture;Reconstruct the group teaching of ancient poetry and texts to form cultural consciousness;Adhere to the practice of integrating ancient poetry and literature to highlight cultural self-confidence;Establish an after-school learning community and improve their literacy of ancient poetry to cultivate students’ cultural self-confidence.This study seeks to explore the teaching strategies of ancient poetry that reflect the characteristics of cultural self-confidence education,and teachers can continuously add generative development paths in the process of practice.
