In the teaching of track and field course of physical education major in colleges and universities nowadays,the long jump is the main teaching and examination content of the long jump technology course.However,in recent years,with the expansion of the enrollment scale of colleges and universities,the physical fitness level of students has gradually shifted from the "elite" to the "popular" trend,and the number of single class teaching also increases,thus resulting in short practice time,heavy teaching tasks,difficult to master the technical situation.How to break the teaching dilemma and improve the teaching quality of the long jump has become an urgent problem to be solved.Therefore,this study introduced the developmental core strength training method of Pilate core strength training into the teaching of the long jump,trying to investigate the application effect and influence of Soppilate core strength training in the teaching of the long jump,and provide a new idea for the teaching of the long jump in the future.This research belongs to experimental research,which mainly adopts the methods of literature review,expert interview,questionnaire survey,experiment and mathematical statistics,and randomly selects two classes(43 male college students)of physical education major at 2021 level of Guangzhou Institute of Physical Education as the experimental subjects.The experimental class conducts pilates core strength training and conventional strength training in the physical fitness exercise part of the standing up long jump teaching class,The control class only carried out routine strength training.After a 6-week teaching experiment,a comparison was made between the core strength indicators,specific physical fitness indicators,results of the push up long jump,and satisfaction with the teaching of the push up long jump between the two classes of students.After data analysis,the results are as follows:1.Core strength index: After the experiment,the scores of Grade 8 abdominal bridge,grade 7 back bridge,one minute supine lying at two ends and one minute prone lying at two ends of the experimental class were all higher than before the experiment(P < 0.01 or P < 0.05),and were all higher than that of the control class(P< 0.05).After the control class experiment,the scores of lying at both ends in one minute and lying at both ends in one minute were higher than those before the experiment(P < 0.01).There was no significant difference between the scores of grade 8 abdominal bridge and grade 7 back bridge(P > 0.05).2.Specific physical fitness indexes: After the experiment,the results of 30 meter running,standing long jump,front throwing solid ball,and five-stage one-foot jump in the 6-step run-up of the experimental class and the control class were all higher than those before the experiment.Except for 30 meter running,the other indexes showed significant differences(P < 0.01).After the experiment,there was a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class in the front throwing solid ball scores(P < 0.05).Although there was no significant difference in the scores of 30-meter run,standing long jump and 6-step run-up five-stage single jump(P > 0.05),the improvement range of the experimental class in the 30-meter run and 6-step run-up five-stage single jump was higher than the control class.Only the standing long jump improved less than the control class.3.Clean long jump performance: After the experiment,the standard performance and technical evaluation performance of the experimental class were higher than that of the control class,and showed significant differences(P < 0.05).4.Teaching satisfaction of long jump: After the experiment,the experimental class had higher satisfaction than the control class in classroom atmosphere,teaching content,teaching methods and ability improvement,and the difference was significant(P < 0.05).After analysis,the conclusion is as follows:1.Compared with the conventional strength training,introducing the core strength training of Pilates into the long jump teaching can better improve the strength and stability of students’ core muscles.2.Compared with conventional strength training,the combination of pilates core strength training and conventional strength training can better improve the students’ displacement speed,single leg jumping ability and the ability to coordinate the upper and lower limbs,but the improvement of lower limb explosive force is not as good as conventional strength training.3.Compared with the conventional strength training,the introduction of Pilates core strength training in the teaching of the long jump has a good promoting effect on the technical mastery and completion quality of the students who have initial contact with the long jump,and the improvement of the standard performance and technical evaluation results is more significant.4.Compared with the conventional strength training,introducing the core strength training of Pilates into the teaching of the long jump can effectively stimulate students’ interest in learning,mobilize students’ enthusiasm in learning,and improve their internal expectation and satisfaction of the teaching of the long jump.
