Research On The Present Situation And Influencing Factors Of Football Activities In Private Colleges And Universities In Guangdong Province

Under the background of sports power strategy,China vigorously carries out campus football.Universities,as the highest institutions of learning in China,should play their top-level role in campus football activities.At present,domestic scholars have conducted research and discussion on football activities in colleges and universities,but there are few public universities and private universities with two different characteristics of separate research units.As an important force in our higher education system,it is necessary to conduct separate and detailed research on campus football activities.In view of this,on the basis of multidisciplinary theories such as sports sociology and statistics,this study takes the campus football development of private universities in Guangdong Province as the research object and explores the existing problems in the process of campus football activities by using research methods such as literature,expert interview,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and case analysis.To find out the factors affecting the development of campus football activities and put forward the optimization path,to provide reference for the development of campus football activities in private universities in Guangdong Province and even the whole country.The following conclusions are drawn from the survey:(1)The leaders of private universities in Guangdong Province attach great importance to the school’s campus football activities,and each unit of the school has a positive attitude towards organizing football activities;Most private universities in Guangdong Province offer compulsory or elective football courses,with comprehensive goals and content settings.The age structure of football teachers is reasonable,and the education level is mainly for master’s degree students;Private universities in Guangdong Province have a high enthusiasm for participating in the provincial college football competition,with the number of participating teams ranking first in the country.Multiple school teams have achieved excellent results in the top eight of their participating groups;Students have a high level of support for the school to carry out campus football activities,and their active participation in extracurricular football activities is good.(2)The problems faced by private universities in Guangdong Province in carrying out campus football include insufficient number of football fields,lack of management of field equipment and facilities;The teaching level of football teachers is low,and their research ability is not strong;The training frequency and quality of men’s football teams are not high,there are few opportunities to participate,and women’s football teams are not valued;The football special funds are unstable,with limited sources and weak logistical support;Lack of football culture construction and single form of promotion.(3)The factors that affect the development of campus football activities in private universities in Guangdong Province can be classified into five categories,namely condition guarantee factors,social environment factors,induction factors,football curriculum factors,and campus football activity factors.Among them,condition guarantee factors have the highest cumulative contribution rate,at 20.239%.(4)In view of the problems existing in the development of campus football activities in private colleges in Guangdong Province,the following optimization paths are proposed: increasing the number of football field equipment,establishing a scientific and intelligent management mechanism for football field equipment;More efforts should be made to introduce "double-qualified" football teachers and attach importance to the cultivation of football teachers in our school;Improve the training frequency and quality of the men’s football team,increase competition opportunities,and establish a women’s football team;Expand the football fund channel,do a good job in logistics support work;Enrich the campus football culture propaganda forms,create a strong campus football culture atmosphere.
