As one of the rich educational resources,school education rituals have attracted more and more researchers’ attention.Looking at the past,the academic research on the functional value of educational rituals is mostly carried out from the macro level,and most of them focus on the connotation,characteristics,functions and other aspects of educational rituals for theoretical research,lack of exploration at the practical level,and the separation of theory and practice has led many educators to "know the essence of educational rituals but do not know why",and there is a certain distance from the ideal state to the real landing of educational rituals.Based on the present,a common ritual structure has been formed between different schools,but there is a certain hidden resistance in ritual discipline,which makes the value of educational ritual education increasingly prominent and at the same time moving towards alienation,and the development of educational rituals is mediocre,formal,and utilitarian,resulting in the lack of students’ emotional experience and hindering the exertion of the value of educating life and educating people.Based on this,this study takes the educational value of school education rituals as the main research object,selects two schools in Wuxi W and L as fieldwork sites,and uses fieldwork,observation research,interview survey and other methods to collect relevant data,in an attempt to clarify the current situation of educational rituals,explore the influencing factors and alienation manifestations of educational rituals,and further explore the educational value of educational rituals.From the perspective of students,combined with the actual needs of students,focusing on the relevant exploration of the value realization path of school education ritual education,highlighting the importance of ritual education and helping educators correctly grasp the essence of school education ritual,it tries to provide reference for scientific and effective educational ceremony.This study consists of six main parts.The first chapter is the introductory part,which first clarifies the reasons for the topic selection,clarifies the research problems and research significance on this basis,defines the core concepts,introduces the theoretical foundations such as interactive ritual chain and transitional ritual,and reviews domestic and foreign literature from three aspects:educational ritual,educational value and educational instrument educational value.The second chapter mainly expounds the research ideas and research design,selects four research methods,including literature research,fieldwork,observation research,and interview survey,prepares for the implementation of the study,and clarifies the collection and processing methods of research data.Chapters 3,4 and 5 are the main part,through fieldwork in Wuxi W and L schools,combined with observation and interviews,to conduct field research and data collection.According to the development of different types of school education ceremonies,this paper discusses the educational values in the current school education ceremonies,and attempts to summarize the influencing factors and alienation manifestations in the process of their realization.Chapter 5 focuses on the realization path of the value of ritual education in school education,starting from the three dimensions of updating the concept of ritual,updating the thinking of ritual,and optimizing action strategies,aiming to clarify the "unique" value of educational ritual and make suggestions for the realization of the value of ritual education in school education.Through the study,this paper came to the following conclusions:Conclusion 1: As one of the rich educational resources in schools,school education rituals have characteristics that distinguish them from general "rituals",such as development,emotional education,behavior guidance and life orientation,which is also the uniqueness of "educational rituals".Conclusion 2: These characteristics also shape the unique educational value of school education rituals,which is conducive to constructing students’ identity as "social people".It is conducive to the school education ceremony to cultivate students’ feelings of home and country in the transmission of rules;The immersive experience of the school’s educational ceremony helps to establish the life education in the presence of the student.Conclusion 3: From the perspective of the realization of the educational value of school education rituals,educational rituals have been integrated into various aspects such as classrooms,schools and society,and practical values have been paid more and more attention,but there are also some alienations,such as banality under knowledge standards,formalization under the lack of students’ positions,and utilitarianization under the deviation of educational concepts.Conclusion 4: From the perspective of the realization path of the value of ritual education in school education,the three-dimensional integration of "renewal ritual view","renewal of thinking mode" and "optimization of action strategy" is basically formed.
