Large-scale sports events often have a large number of participants and on-site audience,which are large in scale,large in impact,and very complex in organization and management.Our sports events have unique risks.In the process of organizing and implementing large-scale sports events,we must scientifically evaluate the risk level of the event.Scientific event risk assessment is also the most basic work content of sports event risk management.Objective and scientific assessment of risk can correctly identify the nature of risk of large-scale sports events,dig out the root cause of risk from a deep level,and then find out the key to risk management of sports events,with the purpose of minimizing the risk of major sports events,And lay a theoretical foundation for the establishment and improvement of the system and mechanism for managing the risks of large-scale sports events.Based on the basic theory of risk management,this report adopts the methods of literature,questionnaire,Delphi,analytic hierarchy process,mathematical statistics and logical analysis to investigate the current situation of risk management of major sports events in China and explore the risk identification,assessment and response of major sports events in China.In order to improve the risk management level of our university’s sports events,provide effective guidance for the effective,safe and orderly organization of its events,and ensure the safe and smooth progress of the events.The main conclusions are as follows:1.Based on the WSR system methodology,this paper analyzes the types of risks in risk management of large-scale sports events and explores the process of risk identification,risk assessment,and risk response.Through research from the three dimensions of physics,reason,and human reason,the organizers of the event have a more comprehensive understanding and grasp of the risks in the event management process.Finally,a risk assessment structural model was constructed,including 3 primary indicators,8 secondary indicators,and 33 tertiary indicators.2.By using the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)to compare the risk factors at various levels of major sports events in China,calculate the relative importance of each type of risk factor,and rank the overall risks of the event,helping event managers better develop risk response plans based on indicator models.3.In the first level indicators,the "human reason" dimension has the greatest impact in the first level indicators;Under the secondary indicators,environmental risks,site facilities,organizational management,personnel risks,financial management and other risks account for a significant proportion;Under the third level indicators,the top five indicators with weight ratios are disease spread,venue facility quality,athlete withdrawal or absence,overspending of capital investment,and loss of venue assets.4.However,regardless of the level of risk outcomes,other sub indicators cannot be ignored.Various modifications should be made for different purposes.Only by comprehensively understanding the key factors of "things,things,and people" and conceptualizing the Trinity as a whole can we better prevent and respond to risks in largescale sports events in China.
