With the acceleration of social change and population mobility in China,intergenerational education has become a common social phenomenon in real life.The family conflicts caused by intergenerational education have also become one of the main contradictions in Chinese families.To help young parents relieve some pressure in life,promote the correct way of communication among family members,and change the existing family structure.In the absence of long-term parental role in the family,it is easy to appear bad parent-child relationship problems.In intergenerational upbringing families,the rationality and emotions of three generations are intertwined,and the formation and conflict of generation gaps and contradictions between them are inevitable.Therefore,it is necessary to study the parent-child relationship of rural left behind children in intergenerational families.At present,the research on parent-child relationship of left-behind children is mostly concentrated in the fields of education and psychology,and there are few discussions in sociology,especially from the perspective of social work.The author selected Xiaogao as the service object from the families of left behind children in the social work service center,mainly using professional methods and knowledge of social work to specifically intervene in the parent-child relationship of this article,help the case family to restore good parent-child relationship and intergenerational relationship,relieve the contradictions between family members,improve the ability of the case family to deal with problems.This paper mainly takes the case as the intervention,Summarize relevant practical experience,to provide the corresponding reference for solving the problem of parent-child relationship of left-behind children in the families with other generations.This paper uses the interview method and observation method to summarize and analyze the forms and causes of the parent-child relationship problems of rural left-behind children.Then,through the case study,it specifically analyzes the causes of the adverse parent-child relationship in individual families: the communication dysfunction of family members,the misplacement of family members’ roles and the deviation of the self-cognition and behavior of the victims.Then the family system theory and cognitive behavior theory were used to intervene different problems in stages,and then the effectiveness of the case service was evaluated through parent-child relationship scale comparison and interview.According to the results of the case service,some suggestions and feedbacks were made,and social work put forward some new ideas on the parent-child relationship of left-behind children in the family with separated parenting.Through the investigation,it is found that the poor relationship between parents and children of left-behind children in rural areas is mainly caused by the alienation of parent-child relationship,conflict and estrangement of parent-child relationship.The main reasons are that parents do not master the correct communication skills,the intergenerational parent does not act as the medium of parent-child communication,and the left-behind children left behind for a long time to appear the corresponding psychological problems.It mainly uses professional social work to serve cases,makes plans through intervention services and encourages service objects to find problems,helps family members to change the bad forms of communication they have encountered before,improves emotional communication between parents and children,and promotes family warmth and harmony.From the perspective of social work,this study provides relevant practical experience to intervene in the parent-child relationship of rural left-behind children,and takes effective methods to solve this problem,which has important research value.
