Teaching reflection ability is a necessary professional ability for teacher training students,and it is also an important indicator to evaluate the effectiveness of teacher training students’ internship.Developing the teaching reflection ability of intern teachers can promote the improvement of the professional quality of intern teachers,achieve the educational goals of teacher education,and improve the quality of education and internship of teacher training students.Therefore,the research on the teaching reflection ability of intern teachers can ensure the quality of teacher training and improve the quality of teachers.In this study,the questionnaire survey method and interview survey method were used to conduct an empirical study on the teaching reflection ability of intern normal students in Y colleges,investigate the overall performance level of teaching reflection ability of intern normal students,and then explore the existing problems,and put forward effective countermeasures to promote the development of teaching reflection ability.After investigation,it was found that the overall performance level of teaching reflection ability of trainee normal students in Y colleges and universities was low,and there were mainly the following four problems: the understanding of the connotation and practical significance of teaching reflection was not profound,the subjective consciousness of reflection and the firm will to reflect were lacking,the content of teaching reflection was unclear and incomplete,and the singleness of teaching reflection methods and the ability to comprehensively apply methods were low.On this basis,the reasons that restrict the development of the teaching reflection ability of intern normal students are analyzed,which are attributed to: the low proportion of teaching of reflective theoretical knowledge in colleges and universities,the unreasonable arrangement of internship tasks in the internship base,the dual tutor system does not play a professional leading role,and the bad reflection habits of teacher normal students’ thinking inertia and lazy psychology.In order to further promote the development of teaching reflection ability of intern teachers,this study proposes targeted improvement strategies from three levels: teacher colleges,internship bases and intern normal students based on reflective teaching theory and critical theory.Normal colleges should start from three aspects: optimizing the curriculum structure,reforming educational internships,and clarifying the responsibilities of tutors;The internship base focuses on establishing a team of mentors with high quality and strong demonstration role;Normal students should develop good habits of reflection,correct attitudes,strengthen theoretical study,and follow up reflection actions.The three are interconnected and jointly promote the development of teaching reflection ability of intern teacher training students.
