| Preschool stage is an important stage of language development.Effective use of all kinds of digital education resources to strengthen the language development of preschool children is a key step to promote the development of education,especially for the common language development of children in areas where the national common language is weak.With the digital transformation of education entering the advanced stage of education digitalization,digital education resources have become the main position of transformation,and digital education resources based on new information technologies such as artificial intelligence,VR and AR have also become an important guarantee for the improvement of education and teaching quality.Through literature review,it is found that the application of AR technology in the process of education and teaching can stimulate learners’ interest in learning,relieve students’ learning anxiety and burden,and improve students’ learning efficiency.In addition,the application of AR technology in language teaching can design and develop resources and environments with human-computer interaction functions,so as to provide language application scenes for learners,thus improving the efficiency of language learning.Based on this,this study focuses on the impact of AR educational games on language education in the five major fields of young children,exploring the relationship between AR educational games,cognitive development of young children,and language development of young children.The study selected 102 large class children(52 in the experimental group and 50 in the control group)from a kindergarten in Xiahe County,Gannan,Gansu Province as the experimental subjects.Through expert consultation,five fields of preschool education and basic principles of language themed activity design based on AR educational games were determined,and the advantages of three different types of human-computer interaction AR educational games in children’s language education and teaching activities were analyzed.The activity themes suitable for language education and teaching are selected,and the design framework of themed activities is constructed based on language learning theories.Based on the framework,themed activities are designed jointly with teachers and empirical research is carried out.During the experiment,the experimental group used AR educational games to carry out themed educational activities,while the control group used traditional games to carry out themed educational activities.Before and after the experiment,DN:CAS cognitive assessment system,Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test-Chinese(PPVT)and Expressive Vocabulary Test-Chinese(EVT)were used to test children’s cognitive and language level,and the test data of the two groups of children were compared and analyzed.Through data analysis,it is found that the cognitive level and language level of children in the two groups have been improved,but the improvement effect of the experimental group is more obvious,and there is a strong correlation between cognitive development and language development of children in the experimental group,while there is a weak correlation between cognitive development and language development of children in the control group.Through statistical analysis of the data of the two groups of children,the following conclusions are finally drawn:(1)AR educational games and traditional educational games can promote children’s cognitive and language development,and the application of AR educational games is more obvious;(2)There is a correlation between infant cognitive development and language development;(3)AR educational games can promote language development by affecting children’s cognitive functions such as simultaneous processing,attention and sequential processing.Based on the above conclusions,this study puts forward the following educational suggestions:(1)Develop appropriate AR educational games combined with children’s cognitive processing structure;(2)Use AR educational games in education and teaching activities to promote children’s language development;(3)Promote children’s language development by using the logical influence relationship between children’s cognitive development and language development.There are still some shortcomings in this study.For example,only the data before and after the implementation of education and teaching activities are collected and analyzed in the experiment,and the collection of procedural data is insufficient.The experimental implementation time is short,the long-term use effect is not clear.Based on this study,the future can be based on the research of children’s procedural behavior data collection and analysis,intelligent real-time evaluation technology,improve the process of data collection and analysis,and explore the influence mechanism of AR educational games on children’s language development. |
