As we all know,mood plays an important role in a person’s mental health.And we are often trapped by bad emotions,which affect our work performance.Class teachers in high school are often faced with strong pressure of entering school and various trifles in work,and bad emotions sometimes break out,which seriously affect the normal management of the class and the relationship between teachers and students.How to manage emotion is a crucial problem for the class teachers in high school.Therefore,it is urgent to objectively and comprehensively reveal the existing problems,deeply tap the root of the problem,and explore reasonable and effective solutions under the premise of clarifying the current situation of emotion management of high school head teachers.The researchers objectively and comprehensively revealed the current situation of the head teacher’s emotion management by putting forward research questions,reading relevant literature,sorting out literature content,obtaining and analyzing data,and found out the root of the problems on the basis of analyzing them.Based on Goleman’s emotional intelligence theory and Albert Ellis’ s ABC emotion management strategy,this study explores the emotion management of high school class teachers from three dimensions,namely the object,the content and the operation.The object of this research is the high school class teachers’ emotion management;The content includes high school class teacher emotion management status,problems and reasons;The operation refers to putting forward corresponding measures for high school class teacher emotion management.This paper taking F High School as an example adopts a qualitative research,interviews,observation and other methods,and the research was conducted on the senior high school head teacher.After sorting out and analyzing the data information,it is learned that:The current situation of the emotion management of the class teacher in F high school is as follows: the poor self-awareness of emotions,the insufficiency of expressing emotions,the strong ability of self-motivation,and the lack of the ability of recognizing others’ emotions and interpersonal relations.The current situation of school and society on the emotion management of high school class teacher is as follows: the school pays less attention to the emotion of the class teacher,and the tedious administrative work of the school sometimes even becomes the source of the emotion problems of the class teacher;Few people in the society pay attention to the teacher’s emotion problems.Through investigation,the researcher found that in F high school,the problems of the emotion management of the class teachers lie in their weak consciousness of the emotion management and lack of emotion management strategy,and the school lacks help and training for the emotion management of the high school class teachers.The above problems are due to the variety of the class teachers’ characters,their lacking the corresponding professional knowledge,the high pressure of admission and the class teachers’ unreasonable expectation for their students.In addition,the school pays little attention to the emotion management of class teachers and enforces strict assessment mechanism among the class teachers in all aspects.Besides,the unreasonable expectation from the society for the class teachers in high school are also one of the main factors that lead to the lack of outstanding emotion management ability of the head teacher.Emotion management ability can be improved through making continuous self-adjustment and taking psychological suggestions,as well as a change of the environment.To deal with the emotional problems,first of all,the class teachers are supposed to promote their emotion management ability on their own.They can take the following measures to improve their ability of emotion management: First,enrich the knowledge of emotion management and enhance emotional intelligence;second,learn to use Albert Ellis’ s ABC emotion management strategy and grasp emotion management strategies.Third,establish a good relationship between teachers and students and treat "problem students" rationally.Fourth,pay attention to home-school communication and establish a good home-school relationship.Secondly,the school should improve the working method in the aspect of the class teachers’ emotion management.School leaders should first pay attention to the teacher’s emotional management and strengthen the humanistic care for the teachers.Second,strengthen relative curriculum training for the teachers to promote their emotion management ability.Thirdly,promote the evaluation system of the class teachers to improve their enthusiasm.Thirdly,the society ought to pay attention to the emotion management of high school class teachers.On the one hand,it should give corresponding normal support and offer a good social atmosphere.On the other hand,it should respect and understand the high school class teachers and have reasonable expectations for the school and class teachers.Only when the senior high school head teachers strengthen their learning and the school and society give them active help can the senior high school head teachers’ emotion management level be truly improved,and ultimately provide services for the long-term development of ordinary high school education and teaching. |
