Research On The Service Model Of Rural Mutual Care And Happiness Homes

China’s aging society began in 1999,and as it continues to grow,the aging population continues to increase.It is expected that by 2025,China’s rural population over 60 years old has the possibility of reaching 300 million,and will exceed 400 million in 2033.With the continuous development of cities,the situation of hollowing out of the countryside is becoming more and more serious.The serious degree of aging and the poor conditions of rural retirement resources and facilities together constitute a great social pressure on rural retirement.In this paper,we conduct a field study on the rural mutual help elderly care model in County H.We analyze the development of local mutual help elderly care activities and the problems that exist in the process of development,and provide corresponding solutions and suggestions for improvement by analyzing the causes of the problems.This study takes County H of Tonghua City,Jilin Province as the object,and develops relevant questionnaires and interview outline based on the combination of social exchange theory and social support theory.Through the analysis,it can be seen that the needs of mutual aid nursing homes in this county mainly focus on four aspects: daily life needs,spiritual life needs,economic needs and medical security needs.After understanding the basic situation of the county’s mutual care homes,it can be analyzed that the current material living standard of the county’s rural mutual care homes has been significantly improved.The needs of life care are partially met,but there are also many problems.For example,the occupancy rate is still low,the infrastructure is relatively weak,the service level needs to be improved,and the internal operation and management are not perfect.These problems are mainly due to the low acceptance of the elderly in rural areas,limited government funding,inadequate service models and service specialization,lack of updated management concepts,inadequate management and lack of social power.In view of the above-mentioned problems and reasons,combined with the actual situation,we believe that in order to solve the problem of mutual care in the county,we should firstly increase the capital investment power and build diversified financing channels,which should strengthen the government’s financial support and encourage social organizations to participate in it,and secondly,to explore the demand for mutual care,we should establish and improve the relevant policies and regulations.Finally,improve and enrich the content of activities for the elderly,and innovate activity projects.We should cultivate mutual aid professionals and increase the construction of elderly service echelon.In addition to this,social organizations should be introduced to encourage the participation of social charity organizations,social workers,volunteers and other aspects.Finally,the effective promotion of the mutual help elderly care model mainly depends on the improvement of the concept,so we should strengthen the transformation of the elderly thinking,promote the advantages of the mutual help elderly care model,create a good mutual help atmosphere in the mutual help elderly homes,attract more elderly people to join them,and promote the effective development of the mutual help elderly care model.
