A Study Of Social Work Interventions To Enhance The Professional Competence Of Female Domestic Workers

The accelerated level of urbanisation and the large-scale concentration of surplus labour in rural areas in central cities,coupled with the rising standard of living of urban residents and the expanding diversified demand for domestic services,prompted the domestic services market to begin to flourish and the domestic services industry began to become an important economic growth point for the tertiary industry.Among the many elements that promote the development of the domestic service market,the comprehensive business quality and professional skills of domestic service personnel are important elements in the process of promoting the development of the domestic service industry.This paper investigates and researches the current problem of enhancing the professional competence of domestic helpers in Changchun,and provides relevant countermeasures and suggestions for improving the overall level of professional competence of domestic helpers by using the intervention method of group work.The paper is divided into six chapters of content:The first chapter analyses the background,purpose and significance of the thesis,its main contents,research methods and the current situation of research development at home and abroad,providing a relevant practical basis and relevant theoretical support for the development of the thesis,and studying and analysing the concerns of relevant scholars to help further enhance the theoretical aspects of the thesis;The second chapter provides a relevant account of domestic service,female domestic workers and professional competence based on the core concepts of the thesis,using social support theory as a theoretical foundation;The third chapter section mainly selects some female domestic helpers of Changchun S enterprises as the research objects,and conducts statistics and analysis on the current development status from the dimensions of theoretical learning ability,practical operation ability,thinking and understanding ability,emotional and attitudinal ability for the improvement of vocational ability,and finds that the current female domestic helpers lack theoretical learning,weak ability to cooperate with others,insufficient comprehensive ability and vocational skills,lack of vocational identity and other major problems;The fourth chapter applies the effective intervention of social work to explore the effective ways to enhance the current professional competence of female domestic helpers;The fifth chapter puts forward relevant suggestions in terms of policy guidance,domestic enterprises,social work intervention and the enhancement of female domestic helpers themselves.
