The teaching design for cultivating scientific inquiry literacy of high school students under the "5E" teaching mode refers to the teaching plan that in the selection of high school physics topics applicable to the "5E" teaching mode,guided by the development of students’ scientific inquiry literacy,which is achieved by combining principles,strategies,and patterns of teaching design and setting appropriate teaching plans that meet instructional requirements.This study aims to construct this teaching plan and explore how to carry out teaching design under the "5E" instructional model to effectively cultivate high school students’ scientific inquiry literacy.The main work of this study is as follows:First,using the literature research method,the study reviews related literature to summarize the domestic and international research status of the "5E" instructional model,scientific inquiry literacy,and teaching design for cultivating scientific inquiry literacy.It also clarifies related concepts such as "instructional model","5E instructional model","scientific inquiry literacy",and "teaching design".Second,the study integrates relevant theories of instructional design and core literacy concepts,and introduces the feasibility of developing scientific inquiry literacy under the "5E" teaching model in relation to the development of scientific inquiry literacy.Third,based on relevant theories and the characteristics of high school physics,this study establishes principles,strategies,and models for designing instruction to cultivate scientific inquiry literacy in high school students under the "5E" instructional model.Fourth,the study selects different inquiry-oriented physics lessons for high school students,focusing on experimental inquiry and cooperative inquiry types of courses.Using the principles,strategies,and models of instructional design for cultivating scientific inquiry literacy under the "5E" model,two instructional design case studies are developed.The educational experiment method is applied to conduct experimental research on these cases,analyzing the promotion of scientific inquiry literacy and physics learning outcomes from a comprehensive perspective.The conclusion of this study is that teaching design for cultivating high school students’ scientific inquiry literacy under the "5E" instructional model demonstrates high feasibility and effectiveness.It effectively fosters students’ scientific inquiry literacy and is worth applying in high school physics classrooms.
