| In 2016,China issued a white paper titled "Developing Core Literacy for Chinese Students",followed by new curriculum standards for senior high schools and compulsory education in 2017 and 2022,respectively.Core literacy has become a goal of education in the new era.As the goal of education changes from knowledge base to literacy base,the traditional teaching design based on "lesson period" and "knowledge point" is difficult to match the literacy goal,and the achievement of the literacy goal needs to match the unit design.This requires teachers to improve the position of instructional design,change the original instructional design concept,from the traditional knowledge-based,class-based instructional design to the core quality oriented unit design.Only in this way can the fragmented teaching centered on knowledge of various disciplines be changed and the effective connection between teaching design and literacy goals be realized.This paper aims to explore how to carry out the practice of large unit teaching in high school history class under the guidance of core literacy,and seek an effective way to implement the core literacy of history subject through carrying out large unit teaching.First of all,through literature retrieval and analysis,the author completed the academic history review and research status analysis of this topic,and found that although large unit instructional design is a hot issue in the field of education,the current research on large unit instructional design has not reached a conclusion.Based on the analysis of the research status,the author defines the core concepts of this paper,such as "core literacy" and "large unit instructional design",and has a clearer understanding of the research theme.At the same time,the author expounds the four basic characteristics of the large unit teaching design,such as integrity,authenticity,advanced and reverse,and holds that the large unit teaching design in high school history teaching is of great significance to teachers’ teaching and students’ learning.Secondly,starting from the three basic elements of unit design: unit goal,unit evaluation task and unit teaching process,the author expounds the basic model of unit teaching design of history University of Science and Technology,and discusses how to organize the teaching of high school history unit in three ways: big concept,big problem and big task.Finally,the author takes the first unit "From the Origin of Chinese Civilization to the Establishment and Consolidation of the unified multi-ethnic Feudal State in Qin and Han Dynasties" as an example of the unified high school history textbook "Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(Part I)",and tries to carry out the teaching design of large units under the guidance of the concept of "the development course of the unified multi-ethnic State".This paper explores the practical path of large unit instructional design theory in high school history teaching. |
