| Due to the large population,limited arable land,lack of large enterprises and less employment opportunities in northern Anhui,more and more rural people choose to work outside after the reform and opening up,becoming an important export destination for migrant workers in China.At the same time,there are also a large number of rural empty nest elderly in northern Anhui.Rural empty nest elderly have become an important part of the elderly population in northern Anhui rural areas.For the empty-nest elderly in rural areas of northern Anhui,whose economic foundation is relatively weak,sports participation can not only enhance their physical health level,but also increase their contact with the outside world and reduce the sense of empty-nest.It is the most economical,convenient and effective way to improve the happiness index of empty-nest elderly in rural areas of northern Anhui.However,at present,China has little research on the participation of empty nest elderly in sports activities in rural areas of northern Anhui,which leads to various difficulties in the participation of empty nest elderly in sports activities in rural areas of northern Anhui.Based on this,this paper takes "the participation of empty-nest elderly in sports activities in rural areas of northern Anhui" as the research object,and uses the research methods of literature,questionnaire,field investigation,interview,case analysis,mathematical statistics,etc.to conduct a practical investigation and analysis of the current situation of empty-nest elderly in sports activities in rural areas of northern Anhui,thus summarizing the current plight of empty-nest elderly in sports activities in rural areas of northern Anhui,And put forward corresponding solutions according to the difficulties.Finally,the following conclusions are reached:(1)The current situation of empty nest elderly in rural areas of northern Anhui Province is as follows: In terms of living,the majority of empty nest elderly live with their spouse or with their spouse and grandchildren,while the number of empty nest elderly living alone is relatively small;In terms of contact with children,the frequency of contact between empty nest elderly people and their children in rural areas of northern Anhui is relatively low;In terms of physical and mental health,the empty nest elderly in rural areas of northern Anhui are negatively affected by their physical and mental health due to empty nests.(2)At present,the current situation of sports participation in rural areas in northern Anhui Province is as follows: family income is continuously increasing,the rural empty nest elderly have a high degree of sports preference,a growing awareness of sports fitness,a greater demand for scientific fitness,an appropriate intensity of sports participation,and continuous improvement of sports facilities.However,there are still some problems such as less time for sports participation,inadequate sports awareness,weak sports guidance,and a lack of regularity in sports activities The content of sports activities is relatively single.(3)The participation of empty nest elderly in sports activities in rural areas of northern Anhui still faces many difficulties,mainly including: insufficient attention paid by relevant departments,lack of protection of basic sports rights and interests of empty nest elderly;Lack of children’s companionship and weak family sports support;Inadequate support from grassroots organizations and inadequate demand for sports services;The empty nest elderly are relatively closed and lonely,and their enthusiasm for sports participation is not high;The burden of household and agricultural work is heavy,and there is less time for sports participation.(4)The main ways to promote the participation of empty nest elderly in sports activities in rural areas of northern Anhui include: clarifying departmental responsibilities,establishing and improving sports security mechanisms;Strengthen the connection between children and strengthen the guidance of family sports;Improve grassroots support to make up for family deficiencies;Emphasize psychological comfort and encourage empty nest elderly to participate in sports;Reduce the burden of housework and increase the time for sports participation. |
