Objective:Shooting is a key technique in basketball, and the hitting rate is closely related to the outcome of the game.In basketball matchess, both sides not only have to compete in terms of technology, tactics, and body, but also in terms of psychological quality.Attention,self-confidence and other psychological factors well have a certain impact on the shooting percentage of athletes, thus affecting the normal play of their technical and tactical level.Teenage basketball players,as an important reserve of talents for the development of basketball in China, need to not only improve physical quality and athletic ability, but also conduct scientific, effective psychological training to develop good psychological quality, and lay a good psychological foundation for obtaining the best athletic state and creating outstanding results. As a psychological intervention method completely different from the traditional psychological skill training, the effect of mindfulness training has been verified in the field of competitive sports, which can effectively improve athletes’ mental stste and athletic performance. But in basketball,it has mostly been limited to improving the shooting percentage and attention of college basketball players. As such, this study applied mindfulness training to a group of teenage basketball players to investigate the effects of 7 weeks of mindfulness-acceptance-insight-commitment(MAIC)training on the shooting percentage and attention of 15 to 17-year-old female basketball players,to verify the scientific effectiveness of this method for improving shooting percentage and attention of teenage basketball players, and to provide a reference for training for coaches. Methods:In this study,The methods used in this study include literature review, interviewing, psychometric, experimental and mathematical statistics.Experimental method main 20 adolescent female basketball players from Changzhou Sports School were selected as experimental subjects and randomly assigned to the experimental group(n=10)and the control group(n=10).The experimental group underwent 7weeks of mindfulness-acceptance-insight-commitment(MAIC)training,while the control group did not receive any mental training. The athletes’ shooting percentage, attention and mindfulness levels were measured before, after and in the fourth week after the experiment, respectively.Data were collected and sorted into Excel tables and analyzed using SPSS19.0.All test data were expressed as mean ± standard deviation(X ±SD),and the pre-test data were analyzed by independent sample T-test for significant differences in pre-test scores between the two groups;the post-test data were analyzed by 2×3 repeated measures ANOVA for group(experimental group and control group)and time pre-test,post-test,and the main effects of the post-test data and their interaction effects were tested using a 2 × 3 repeated measures ANOVA.p<0.05 indicates a significant difference and p<0.01 indicates a highly significant difference. Results: In terms of shooting percentage: there was a time and group interaction(p<0.05)for the one-minute timed jump shot shooting percentage, and there was a significant difference(p<0.05)between the intergroup performance of the experimental group and the control group after the experiment, and a significant difference(p<0.05)between the intragroup performance of the experimental group. The hit rate of seven-step backward shooting and the hit rate of dribble rush jump shot between the experimental group and the control group improved after the experiment, but there was no interaction between time and group(p>0.05).In terms of attention:there was a time and group interaction(p<0.05)during the Schulte square response, and there was a significant difference(p<0.05)in the within-group performance of the experimental group;there was a time and group interaction(p<0.05)in the attention distribution score, and there was a significant difference(p<0.05)in the between-group performance of the experimental and control groups after the experiment, and there was a significant difference(p<0.05)in the within-group performance of the experimental group(p<0.05).The attention stability score, attention shift score and attention breadth score of the experimental and control groups improved after the experiment, but there was no time and group interaction(p>0.05).On the level of positive thinking: there was a time and group interaction for the observation score(p<0.05),a significant difference between the experimental and control group scores after the experiment(p<0.05),and a significant difference within the experimental group scores(p<0.05);there was a time and group interaction for the non-response score(p<0.05),and a significant difference within the experimental group scores(p<0.05);there was a time and group interaction for the total scores on the positive thinking scale(p<0.05),and the within-group scores of the experimental group differed significantly(p<0.05).The description score, conscious action score and no evaluation score of the experimental group improved after the experiment, but there was no time and group interaction(p>0.05).Conclusions:The MAIC training was positively affected in the jump shot percentage, attention, and mindfulness levels of 15-17-year-old female basketball players,it can be effectively improved jump shot percentage, concentration, and body awareness. And the effect of the intervention maintained four weeks after the experiment. |
