| At present,high-grade students in primary school are facing a heavy homework burden,which is manifested in the large amount,the mechanical content repetition,the degree of difficulty,as well as the long-time and unsatisfactory completion.These problems aggravate students’ homework burden and severely affect their physical and mental development.At the end of July 2021,the State Council issued Opinions on Further Easing the Burden of Excessive Homework and Off-campus Tutoring for Students Undergoing Compulsory Education.The policy aims to effectively solve the current homework management problems,reduce the homework pressure of primary and middle school students,and promote the all-round and healthy development of primary and middle school students.With the A Primary School in Huainan City as a sample school,this paper conducts an in-depth investigation and finds three problems in homework quality management in the high grades of primary school,under the background of "double reduction",high-grade teachers and students fail to establish a correct view of homework quality and fail to correctly understand the concept of homework and homework burden;In the process of homework quality management,teacher management has always played a dominant role while students lack independent management.This paper is problem-oriented and carries out three rounds of effective education action research.By doing so,it aims to solve the problems in homework quality management,propose improvement strategies for the high-grade homework quality management of S Primary School in Huainan City and promote the development of homework quality.Firstly,through questionnaires and interviews,this paper investigates the status quo and problems of homework quality management among high-grade teachers and students in the sample school,their differences in various links of homework quality management,the problems in homework design management and homework evaluation management,and teachers and students understanding of homework and homework burden.SPSSAU is used to conduct the item analysis,the exploratory factor analysis,the description and correlation analysis and the variance analysis on the questionnaires of teachers and students.The homework concept and homework burden of teachers and students are investigated emphatically,At the same time,interviews were conducted to investigate teachers and students’ understanding of the "double reduction" policy.And then the current situation and problems of high-grade homework quality management are described and attributed.Secondly,the three rounds of action research go through three stages: design,implementation and reflection.Based on the three months of a semester,each round of action research integrates and analyzes the problems,proposes action countermeasures and program implementation and puts forward deficiencies and improvements in the process of reflection action.They build a new mechanism and form a new system for homework quality management,as well as advocate and encourage students to do their homework independently.The purpose is to solve the three problems in homework quality management.Finally,it proposed strategies to improve the quality management of homework of high-grade primary students,and to improve the professional development of teachers and the self-management of students.In the aspect of teacher,the professional thoughts need to be updated.For this purpose,the school management should be guided by the“double reduction” policy and the new curriculum standards.Teachers’ professional knowledge needs to be promoted.To achieve this,teachers need to strengthen the content of homework design and improve the way of homework evaluation.Teacher’s professional competence should be strengthened.For this,the school should fulfill the main responsibility of management,and strengthen the process management,supervision,and evaluation of homework.In the aspect of student,the student self-understanding should be formed.For this,teachers should follow the principles of student development and the common development of teachers and students,and promote students’ self-development;students should enhance their main body status and enhance their participation;It is necessary to improve students’ self-growth.From the level of parents,they should pursue independent homework and improve self-management. |
