This study focuses on the impact of positive psychological counseling of coping style on learning burnout of secondary vocational school students, discusses the relationship between coping style and learning burnout of secondary vocational school students, and designs educational intervention activities based on the perspective of positive psychology to alleviate the negative coping style of secondary vocational school students and further improve the situation of learning burnout.Taking students from a vocational school in Sichuan Province as the research object, the "Coping Style Scale for Middle School Students" and "Youth Learning Burnout Scale" were used to investigate the relationship between coping style and learning burnout among vocational school students.A total of 589 valid questionnaires were obtained.Study 1 used SPSS26.0 to analyze and process the data.Based on the results of Study 1,Study 2 selected 24 participants with moderate to mild learning burnout and randomly divided them into an experimental group(12people)and a control group(12 people)to conduct 8 educational intervention activities. The members were tested before and after, and the following results were obtained:1.The coping style level of vocational school students in this school is relatively weak(92.04±19.32),and learning burnout is relatively common(51.32±10.62).2.Under demography variables such as gender, grade, major, father’s education level and mother’s education level, there are significant differences in the scores and total scores of each dimension of coping style and learning burnout of secondary vocational school students(p<0.05).3.There is a significant positive correlation between coping style and learning burnout among vocational school students(r=0.202,p<0.01),but the correlation between different coping styles and learning burnout is different.Among them, positive coping style and learning burnout do not reach a significant level, while negative coping style and learning burnout among vocational school students are significantly positively correlated(r=0.388,p<0.01).Before intervention, there was no significant difference between the control group and the experimental group in terms of negative coping styles and learning burnout levels; After intervention, the total score of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group, indicating that the intervention in this study was effective for the experimental group.Meanwhile, there was a significant difference in scores between the experimental group and the control group(p<0.05).The test results of the experimental group’s follow-up and post test indicate that there is no significant difference between the experimental group during the follow-up and post test processes. Conclusion: Firstly, vocational school students have weaker coping styles and more common learning burnout;Secondly, there is a significant positive correlation between negative coping and learning burnout; Finally, educational intervention activities based on positive psychology can improve the negative coping style of secondary vocational school students, and then alleviate learning burnout. In summary, the following suggestions are proposed: firstly, secondary vocational schools should optimize the negative coping styles of secondary vocational students through family school co education;Secondly,to alleviate the level of learning fatigue,so that vocational school students can regain their interest in learning and reap the joy of success;Thirdly, attach importance to active psychological counseling for vocational school students,in order to promote mental health education.
