The classroom is an important part of talent training.How to improve the quality of talent training and secondary vocational education,and what teaching mode to adopt to enhance the effectiveness of classroom teaching,has become a difficult problem to be solved in the current reform of secondary vocational classroom teaching.The BOPPPS teaching model is gradually gaining attention in China’s teaching practice,based on the problems of outdated teaching design and poor teaching quality of the current traditional classroom teaching model,which emphasises the "student-oriented" teaching concept into the secondary vocational education classroom.It can effectively promote the continuation and deepening of classroom teaching reform in secondary vocational schools and meet the development requirements of vocational education in the new era.At present,there are many studies on the application and teaching of BOPPPS teaching mode in the classroom,most of which are in the field of higher education with good teaching effect response,but there is no study on the application of BOPPPS teaching mode in the teaching of the course of "Fundamentals of Exhibition" so far.Therefore,applying BOPPPS teaching mode to the classroom teaching of "Fundamentals of Exhibition" can not only enrich the teaching mode of the secondary classroom,but also It can provide reference experience for the reform and innovation of secondary classroom teaching.In this paper,we analyse the teaching status and students’ learning situation of the secondary vocational "Convention and Exhibition Fundamentals" course through various research methods,and combine the problems found in the classroom teaching of "Convention and Exhibition Fundamentals",such as old teaching methods,insufficient teaching links,students’ lack of interest in learning and insufficient enthusiasm in class,etc.This study attempts to conduct an in-depth and comprehensive analysis on the application of BOPPPS teaching mode in the teaching of "Convention and Exhibition Fundamentals" course in secondary vocational schools.This study attempts to make an in-depth and comprehensive analysis of the application of BOPPPS teaching mode in the teaching of the course "Fundamentals of Exhibition" in secondary vocational schools.Secondly,the BOPPPS teaching mode was applied to the teaching of "Convention and Exhibition Fundamentals" to design six teaching sessions: class introduction,learning objectives,pre-test,participatory learning,post-test and summary,taking into account the teaching contents and the requirements of the curriculum standards.After completing the teaching practice,the learning process evaluation form,student performance analysis,student questionnaires and interviews were used to understand the teaching effect of this teaching mode,and the feedback from students was analysed and summarised.The research results show that the BOPPPS teaching mode has positive significance to the teaching of the middle-level "Fundamentals of Exhibition" course,and the teaching effect has achieved significant results,which are as follows: firstly,the BOPPPS teaching mode is conducive to stimulating students’ interest in learning and increasing their enthusiasm in class participation;secondly,it is conducive to cultivating students’ independent inquiry ability,strengthening students’ language communication and expression ability,enhancing students’ Thirdly,it improves students’ bad learning habits,enhances teaching quality and helps students improve their learning effect;Fourthly,it effectively improves the problems of the traditional teaching mode in the course of "Exhibition Fundamentals" and enhances the vitality of the secondary school classroom.The application of BOPPPS teaching mode has an obvious promotion effect on the classroom of "Fundamentals of Exhibition" in secondary school,but some shortcomings are found in the process of the study,such as the single research sample and the lack of teaching experience will have an impact on the study,and there is also a need to pay attention to such problems as flexible configuration of each teaching link in the application.Therefore,the research on the BOPPPS teaching model needs to be further explored and enriched.
