With the development of modern cities, more and more migrant workers swarm into cities to make a living.Especially in recent years, the employment situation is very severe due to the impact of the novel coronavirus epidemic. At the same time,a large number of surplus rural labor force enter cities and become mobile street vendors, and low-cost street vendors become their primary choice. However, throughout the academic research on the stallholder group, most scholars mainly focus on the relationship between itinerant stallholders and urban management to further study how to control the stallholders,so as to achieve a win-win situation with urban development. At the same time, being able to accommodate the stallholder groups has indirectly stimulated the city’s economic consumption and added to the city’s fireworks.Because the threshold of amortization is relatively low,and the cost is low,it also helps the vast majority of people to create more job opportunities. However,in the face of various squeeze of urban space, how do mobile street vendors seek for urban "survival strategies" to expand their urban living space. Therefore, based on the above thinking and understanding, the author chooses the most familiar field spot Kunming Chenggong migrant street vendors as the main research object. From the perspective of rationality, order and spatial justice, the author regards the migrant street vendors as an independent individual existing in the urban space and conducts in-depth research on the migrant street vendors from the action and practice level of their daily life. The influx of rural population into the city also indirectly leads to the increasing tension in the urban job market. In this context, the stall economy is becoming active in the city. However, there are few studies on the itinerant stall vendors themselves. The purpose is to provide them with a reasonable living space in the city by living on the street, working on the street during the day, working on the street at night and living on the street corner formed by the street culture formed by the street vendors. This thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is an overall introduction to the group of floating street vendors in Chenggong. Most of the floating street vendors walk between urban and rural areas.Although they do small business in the city, they take into account family, agriculture and livelihood at the same time,as well as the basic characteristics of these street vendors are expounded.Chapter two,Chapter three,Chapter four, chapter five, respectively from four aspects of the city street corner life of mobile vendors, combined with the author’s in-depth interview and observation, detailed description of the street vendors from the initial city to the successful operation of the stall this series of process. Finally, the sixth chapter responds to the street corner life of itinerant street vendors through rationality, order and spatial justice. To truly integrate into the city, stallholders need not only their own hard work, but also policy support from the national and local governments.
