Whole book reading teaching is a research topic that has continued to heat up in the Chinese teaching community in recent years.2022,the Ministry of Education promulgated a new version of the Compulsory Education Chinese Curriculum Standards,which formally incorporated whole book reading into the Chinese curriculum system at the compulsory education level in the form of learning task clusters.Based on the concept,the current whole book reading teaching at the junior high school level is re-examined,and problems such as fragmentation,generalization,and homogenization are common.This study takes "Xiang Xing San Ji" as an example to explore the whole book reading teaching of junior high school Chinese by genre under task group orientation,in an attempt to improve the teaching theoretical construct,propose teaching optimization strategies,and launch teaching practice,with a view to providing reference for future related teaching development.This paper is divided into three parts: Introduction,Body,and Conclusion.The introductory part describes the reason for selecting the topic and the research value of this study,the current status of the study and the definition of the concept,the research method and the innovation points.The main part consists of four chapters,which focus on the theoretical construction and teaching practice of the whole book reading teaching of "Xiang Xing San Ji".The first chapter explains the theoretical basis for the construction of the framework of reading teaching the whole book of "Xiang Xing San Ji",and elaborates the value of reading the whole book of "Xiang Xing San Ji" in terms of the enhancement of students’ core literacy.Based on these two points,the whole book reading teaching of "Xiang Xing San Ji" is located in the whole book guided reading of modern prose monographs,the task-driven whole book guided reading and the whole book guided reading of lesson type systematization,laying down the theoretical foundation and basic direction of the study.The second chapter examines the principles and strategies of teaching the whole book of "Xiang Xing San Ji","how to design" and "how to teach" the whole book of "Xiang Xing San Ji".The third chapter formulates the overall plan of teaching the whole book "Xiang Xing San Ji" in terms of teaching objectives,teaching time and teaching version,and designs a complete teaching case of the whole book "Xiang Xing San Ji" in three stages: pre-reading introduction,reading advancement and post-reading enhancement.The fourth chapter elaborates the teaching practice of the whole book,reflects on the shortcomings in teaching,and proposes suggestions for improvement.The concluding section summarizes the whole text.
