| Learning burnout,a common negative psychological emotion of learners,is specifically manifested that learners lose enthusiasm for the knowledge content and then become indifference to the people or things around.This phenomenon is more common in student groups in contemporary era.Online Chinese learners are more likely to experience learning burnout than offline Chinese learners because of the constraints of the learning environment and lack of supervision in the learning process.Serious learning burnout will have a certain impact on the psychology of Chinese learners,thus affecting the learning effect of learners.Therefore,it is necessary to intervene their performance in the early stage when learners show learning burnout,so as to avoid the aggravation of learning burnout that will hinder online learning of Chinese learners.Based on questions above,the author compiled the Online Learning Burnout Questionnaire for Chinese Learners on the basis of previous research results.The questionnaire has four parts,forming seven dimensions from the current situation of online Chinese learners’ learning burnout and the causes of the learning burnout.The author invited 191 junior school students from the Saint Jude Catholic School,to participate in the research.And on the basis of the questionnaire,Five online Chinese teachers and eight online Chinese learners from this school were invited to participate in the interview to supplement the limitations of the questionnaire,so as to explore more common problems of Chinese learning burnout of online Chinese learners.The main conclusions of this study are as follows: 1.The overall learning performance of junior school students at the Saint Jude Catholic School shows a moderate level of fatigue;2.There is no significant correlation between learning burnout and gender,grade,or individual Chinese language learning duration among junior school students at the Saint Jude Catholic School;3.The main causes of learning burnout among junior school students at the Saint Jude Catholic School are highly influenced by individual factors,and are also influenced to a certain extent by school factors,with the least being influenced by environmental factors;4.Learners’ online learning burnout psychology can have a certain negative impact on both the instructor and the learner. |
