In the context of the information age,modern information technology and education and teaching are deeply integrated.The teaching methods are diversified and the teaching mode is constantly innovated.In recent years,under the background of the country’s vigorous promotion of "Internet plus",a new teaching mode combining flipped classroom and BOPPPS teaching mode has begun to appear,and has gradually attracted intense attention in the field of education."BOPPPS+Flipped Classroom" has been studied in many other disciplines,but few in the field of physical education.This paper applies the combination of BOPPPS and flipped classroom to the college sports volleyball optional course,explores the application effect of this teaching mode in the college sports volleyball optional course,and provides a reference for the application and promotion of "BOPPPS+Flipped classroom" teaching mode in college sports teaching.This study adopts the use of the teaching mode "BOPPPS+Flipped Classroom" in school public sports volleyball courses as a research object.Using the methods of literature,expert interview,questionnaire,teaching experiment,mathematical statistics and other research methods,this paper makes an experimental study on the application effect of the "BOPPPS+Flipped classroom" teaching mode in the college sports volleyball optional course,and designs the teaching process and teaching activities of the "BOPPPS+Flipped classroom" teaching mode in the college sports volleyball optional course.In this study,two classes of students in the 2021 college sports volleyball optional course of Yunnan Normal University were selected as the experimental subjects.The experimental class students used BOPPPS+Flipped class for teaching,while the control group students used traditional teaching methods for teaching.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)In terms of physical quality,the physical quality test results of the experimental class and the control class after the experiment have significantly improved except for the long jump,but the comparison between the groups is not significant,indicating that both the "BOPPPS+Flipped classroom" teaching mode and the traditional teaching mode can have a positive impact on the physical quality of students.(2)In terms of basic volleyball skills,the students in the experimental class have significantly better basic volleyball skills than those in the control class after the experiment,which shows that the "BOPPPS+Flipped class" teaching mode is more conducive to the improvement of basic volleyball skills.(3)In terms of sports situational motivation,there is a significant difference between the test results of sports situational motivation in the experimental class and the test results of the control class after the experiment,indicating that the "BOPPPS+Flipped classroom" teaching model can more effectively improve students’ sports situational motivation.(4)In terms of sports learning interest,the experimental class students have significant differences between the test results of negative interest,positive interest,skill learning and extracurricular activities and the test results of the control class after the experiment,while there is no significant difference between the test results of sports attention between the experimental class and the control class.It shows that "BOPPPS+Flipped classroom" teaching mode can more effectively improve students’ interest in sports learning.(5)In terms of autonomous learning ability of physical education,there are significant differences between the experimental class students in learning results,learning process,learning motivation test results and the control class test results,while there is no significant difference between the experimental class and the control class in learning environment test results.It shows that the teaching mode of "BOPPPS+Flipped Classroom" can more effectively improve students’ ability of independent learning in sports.In response to the problems encountered during the experiment,the following suggestions are proposed:(1)Promote the "BOPPPS+Flipped Classroom" teaching model in college physical education classes.(2)Effective monitoring to improve self-directed learning ability.(3)Innovate teaching methods and comprehensively utilize multiple teaching methods.(4)Design teaching plans flexibly based on the actual situation.
