| Secondary vocational education is an indispensable part of the education system and plays an important role in the education system as a whole. In order to improve the quality of teaching and learning in vocational education and to promote the development and growth of skilled personnel, the State Council promulgated the National Implementation Plan for Vocational Education Reform in 2019,and in this context proposed to further implement the spirit of the "three teaching" reform, namely the reform of teachers, teaching materials and teaching methods. The rapid development of information technology on the Internet now offers the possibility of reforming education and teaching methods, and education and teaching have begun to explore new development models in conjunction with information technology, with intelligent, autonomous and modern teaching features coming to the fore.In order to change the boring and single traditional education model of the past,a problem-oriented education model is developed, using problems to guide students and allowing them to take the initiative to discover, analyse and solve problems, thus giving rise to a problem-based teaching model. The new teaching mode adheres to the student-centred approach, respects students’ subject position, creates a good learning environment for students’ all-round development, overcomes a series of problems in secondary accounting education such as disconnection between theory and practice, absence of problem situations, low level of students’ learning autonomy, difficulty in designing and implementing teaching activities, and untimely feedback mechanism, and thus promotes students’ all-round development. Therefore,it is meaningful to study the application of the PBL problem-oriented model(Problem-Based Learning)in secondary education.By taking the form of questionnaires,we can understand the learning status of students majoring in accounting in secondary vocational schools, the teaching status of teachers majoring in accounting in secondary vocational schools, and the existing educational bottlenecks. In response to the problems reflected in the questionnaire, the new teaching mode was used to solve them.Through the collected questionnaires, the following problems can be clearly reflected in the teaching process: The problems existing in the students’ learning of professional knowledge: the students’ attitudes are not correct during the learning process, and they have not developed good study habits Moreover, they are not self-disciplined enough, lack confidence in learning, and have not found a learning method that suits them.Problems existing in the teaching process of teachers: Teachers’ own learning awareness is not strong;the teaching quality of accounting teachers in secondary vocational schools is uneven, etc.Based on the above teaching and learning problems, through the course of Elementary Accounting Practice, the PBL is applied to teaching by adopting the method of flipped classroom.Through self-study,analysis and practical operation in class, students are stimulated to take the initiative to learn accounting and are guided to discover problems;through problem-oriented guidance in class, students are guided to carry out theoretical learning and practical operation, giving full play to their sense of ownership. It is truly student-centred and realises the integration of theory and practice in the teaching of accounting courses. |
