Objective: In 2022,the report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward requirements for sports work : extensively carry out national fitness activities,strengthen youth sports work,promote the all-round development of mass sports and competitive sports,and accelerate the construction of a sports power.However,at this stage,China ’s youth sports fitness behavior is still not optimistic.Through description and variance analysis,this study examines the overall situation of sports fun,social support and sports fitness behavior of junior high school students in Shanghai,and uses correlation,regression and construction models to explore the relationship between sports fun,social support and youth sports fitness behavior.The internal mechanism of fitness behavior provides suggestions for promoting the sports fitness behavior of junior high school students in Shanghai.Methods: In this study," sports fun,social support and physical fitness behavior and the relationship between the three " as the research object,2160 junior high school students in Shanghai as the research object,the survey area for the urban and suburban areas of Shanghai,a total of 12 schools were randomly selected for questionnaire survey.The collected questionnaires were manually sorted and screened,and the valid questionnaires were entered.SPSS25.0 software was used to conduct independent sample T test,one-way analysis of variance,correlation analysis,and multiple linear regression analysis on the valid data,and PROCESS plug-in was used to construct the intermediary model to further explore the influence path between sports fun,social support,and sports fitness behavior,and to verify that social support plays a partial intermediary role in the influence of sports fun on sports fitness behavior.Result:(1)The score of sports fun of Shanghai junior middle school students was 4.11(SD=0.855),the score of subjective support was 4.17(SD=1.019),the score of objective support was 4.22(SD=0.946),the score of utilization of support was 3.97(SD=1.092),the score of fitness behavior awareness was 3.86(SD=0.858),Fitness behavioral environment score was 4.09(SD=0.863),fitness behavioral activity score was 1.12(SD=1.612);In the average score of each dimension of social support,objective support > subjective support > utilization of support;In the average score of each dimension of physical fitness behavior,physical fitness behavior environment >physical fitness behavior awareness > physical fitness behavior activities.(2)There were significant differences in gender,grade and region(p<0.01);there were significant differences in the dimensions of social support,fitness behavior awareness and fitness behavior environment in the region(p<0.01);subjective support,fitness behavior awareness and fitness behavior activities have significant differences in gender(p<0.05).(3)There is a positive correlation between sports fun and sports fitness behavior(p<0.01);there was a positive correlation between the dimensions of social support and the dimensions of physical fitness behavior(p<0.01);there was a positive correlation between sports fun and social support(p<0.01).(4)Sports fun and social support had significant positive effects on the total score of physical fitness behavior of junior middle school students(p<0.01);Sports fun,subjective support and utilization of support had significant positive effects on physical fitness behavior awareness of junior middle school students(p<0.05);Sports fun,subjective support and objective support all had significant positive effects on the physical fitness behavioral environment of junior middle school students(p<0.01),but the utilization of support had no significant effect on the physical fitness behavioral environment of junior middle school students(p>0.05).Both sports enjoyment and support utilization had significant positive effects on physical fitness behavior of junior middle school students(p<0.01).(5)The total effect size was 1.0719(LLCI = 1.0151,ULCI =1.1287),the direct effect is 0.8060(LLCI = 0.7461,ULCI = 0.8659)and the indirect effect is 0.2659(LLCI = 0.2266,ULCI = 0.3077).All three paths are significant.Conclusion:(1)Sports fun,social support and physical fitness behavior of junior high school students in Shanghai are generally good.Among them,junior high school students have the highest objective support score in social support scale,the highest fitness behavior environment score in physical fitness behavior scale,and the lowest fitness behavior activity score.(2)Students of different genders have significant differences in fitness behavior awareness,fitness behavior activities and subjective support.Students of different grades only have significant differences in fitness behavior environment dimension.Students of different regions have significant differences in fitness behavior awareness,fitness behavior environment,subjective support,objective support and utilization of support dimension.(3)"Sports fun","subjective support","objective support" and "utilization of support" are positively correlated with all dimensions of physical fitness behavior of junior middle school students in Shanghai;There is a positive correlation between "sports fun" and social support.(4)"Sports fun","subjective support","objective support" and "utilization of support" are important factors affecting the physical fitness behavior of junior middle school students in Shanghai.(5)Sports fun can directly affect sports fitness behavior,but also indirectly affect sports fitness behavior through social support,social support plays a partial intermediary role between sports fun and sports fitness behavior.
