| Research objective: To compile the physical literacy assessment scale for junior middle school students in Jiangsu Province,and to test the reliability and validity of the scale,so as to provide a measuring tool for scientific evaluation of physical literacy for junior middle school students in Jiangsu province.Research methods: The project pool was preliminarily formed by the literature data method.Each item of the scale was revised by expert consultation and interview to form the first version of the scale.The first version of the scale was used for preinvestigation,300 questionnaires were issued(100 in grade one,100 in grade two,and100 in grade three),and 278 valid questionnaires were collected.The items of the scale were initially screened by extreme difference method,correlation method of items and total score and reliability analysis method,and the second version of the scale was formed.By convenient sampling method,junior high school students in southern,central and northern Jiangsu Province were selected as research objects for questionnaire survey.900 questionnaires were distributed and 864 valid questionnaires were collected,with an effective survey rate of 96%.The survey results were randomly divided into two subsamples,and exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were conducted using SPSS26.0 and AMOS21.0.At the same time,reliability and validity tests were carried out to complete the revision of the third version of the scale.Research results:1.The scale was preliminarily developed.The project pool of physical literacy assessment scale for junior high school students in Jiangsu Province with a total of 47 items in 6 dimensions was preliminarily designed.After expert consultation and interview with subjects,the first edition of physical literacy Assessment scale of junior high school students in Jiangsu Province was formed with 3 dimensions and 39 items.Item analysis(extreme difference method,item and total score correlation method,reliability analysis method)was used to revise and improve the second edition of the scale.2.Scale dimension dimension exploration and verification.After six exploratory factor analyses,confirmatory factor analysis was used to verify the model and data of the three dimensions of the scale,showing good fit.Finally completed the revision of the third edition of physical literacy assessment scale for junior high school students in Jiangsu Province.3.Scale validity test.(1)Structural validity: After six EFAs were performed by principal component method and optimal oblique method,the cumulative variance contribution rate was 61.468,and the load of each item on the corresponding factor was > 0.4;(2)Convergent validity: AVE,the mean variance extracted from the model,ranges from 0.490 to 0.517,all of which are greater than 0.4;(3)Discrimination validity: literacy knowledge and behavior performance,literacy knowledge and healthy physical fitness,and behavior performance and healthy physical fitness.The square roots of the two factor constructs AVE were higher than the correlation coefficients between the two factor constructs.(4)Content validity: After expert consultation,the I-CVI of each item of the revised scale was between 0.86-1,and the S-CVI value of the content validity of the scale at the overall level was 0.92.4.Scale reliability test.(1)Combination reliability: The combined reliability CR of the three latent variables of the model(literacy knowledge,behavioral performance and physical fitness)was calculated,and its value was between 0.867 and 0.880;(2)Internal consistency reliability: Cronban’s alpha coefficients of the total volume table were 0.939,and Cronban’s alpha coefficients of each dimension were 0.87,0.83,and0.912,respectively.Research Conclusion: The Physical Literacy Assessment Scale of Junior High School students in Jiangsu Province was preliminarily developed in this study,consisting of 3 dimensions and 22 items.It is proved to have good reliability and validity,which can be used to evaluate the physical literacy of junior middle school students in Jiangsu province,and provide reference and basis for the national formulation of relevant policies on physical literacy.However,the scale dependence of this study has certain limitations and deficiencies,and further exploration and revision are needed in the future,in order to obtain a better scale version. |
