Abstract/Summary:
Family education is an important part of the education system,and family education plays an important role in the development of young people’s learning ability.At present,parents are influenced by traditional educational concepts and their negative educational behaviors make the self-regulated learning level of junior high school students not optimistic.Studies have shown that the parenting style with parent-child relationship as the bond can directly affect students’ self-regulated learning ability.Among them,learning motivation is an important factor affecting the individual’s reinforcement of self-regulated learning behavior.Based on this,this study intends to explore the relationship between junior high school students’ parenting style and self-regulated learning,analyze the mediating role of junior high school students’ learning motivation,and establish the influence mechanism among junior high school students’ parenting style,learning motivation and self-regulated learning.By combing relevant literature,this study constructs the influence mechanism among junior high school students’ parenting style,learning motivation and independent learning.According to the existing literature and theoretical basis,the research hypothesis is further proposed.The existing mature questionnaire was used for preliminary test to make the formal questionnaire conform to the research practice.In this study,a questionnaire survey was conducted among junior high school students,and SPSS26.0 and AMOS26.0 software were used for reliability and validity analysis and empirical analysis of the collected questionnaire data.In addition,it is also assisted by the interview method for discussion and analysis.The research results are as follows: First,from the overall trend,both father’s and mother’s parenting styles are dominated by emotional warmth parenting styles,and the scores of mother’s rejection parenting styles,emotional warmth parenting styles and overprotective parenting styles are higher than those of father.Junior high school students’ learning motivation level and autonomous learning level are in the medium level.Second,the gender of junior high school students will affect their parenting style and learning motivation,the location of junior high school students’ families will affect their learning motivation and independent learning,the residence situation of junior high school students will affect their parents’ parenting style and independent learning,and the class cadre situation of junior high school students will affect their parents’ parenting style,learning motivation and independent learning.Thirdly,parental rejection can significantly positively predict learning motivation;paternal rejection can significantly negatively predict independent learning;paternal emotional warmth can positively predict independent learning and significantly negatively predict learning motivation;maternal overprotection can positively predict independent learning and significantly negatively predict learning motivation.The learning motivation of junior high school students negatively predicts independent learning and plays a mediating role between father’s rejection and independent learning.It plays a mediating role between parents’ emotional warmth and independent learning.It plays a mediating role between parental overprotection and independent learning,which is manifested as masking.Based on the above research,this study further analyzes the reasons for the relationship between junior high school students’ parenting style,learning motivation and self-regulated learning,such as parents’ attitude towards junior high school students,junior high school students’ need for parents’ rich cultural capital,junior high school students’ psychology of avoiding punishment,parents’ emotional support for junior high school students and junior high school students’ development needs.Finally,to optimize the family upbringing,assist junior high school students to learn independently,guide children to learn actively,promote the formation of good learning motivation,cultivate the awareness of self-regulated learning,promote the improvement of self-regulated learning ability,in order to improve the quality of family education and junior high school students’ self-regulated learning ability.
