As is know to all, family education which has significant position and effect is an important component of the entire education system, it is indispensable to the development of person. Parenting style,which is core in the family education, plays an irreplaceable role in children’s social development and personality growth. The existing research shows parenting style has remarkable correlations to autonomous learning、 learning self-efficacy and study result of children. This study explored the distributed characters and correlations of the parenting style, self-regulated learning through the S-EMBU and self-regulated learning scale from four aspects of the gender, census register,whether is the only child and the grade,in a total of316students who are adopted from three grades of three junior middle school students in Macheng, Hubei province.The results indicated that:(1)Regarding the junior middle school students, there are significant differences in the genders and whether is the only child, and there are no significant differences in father parenting style of different census register and grades; there are significant differences in the grades and whether is the only child, and there are no significant differences in mather parenting style of different genders and census register. (2)Regarding the junior middle school students, there are significant differences in the learning self-efficacy of different census register,grades and whether is the only child, and there are no significant differences in the learning self-efficacy of different genders.(3)There are remarkable correlations between the parenting style and learning self-efficacy.(4)It can effectively promote learning self-efficacy of children through the improvement of parenting style.
