Research On The Construction Of Effect Evaluation Index System For Teacher Training In Secondary Vocational Education

Abstract/Summary:
Secondary vocational education plays an important role in the modern education system and offers an important base for cultivating skilled technical talents.And good teachers are an important guarantee for the healthy development of secondary vocational education.Therefore,the construction of teacher staff in secondary vocational education is also being paid more and more attention.Secondary vocational teacher training,as one of the important ways of teaching staff construction,has made outstanding contributions to the optimization of teaching staff structure.Since the Ministry of Education implemented the plan to improve the quality of secondary vocational education teachers in 2006,the number of“double-qualified” teachers has increased and the training of secondary vocational teachers has been further standardized,but there is still no systematic evaluation mechanism to measure the actual effect of training.Evaluating the training effect of secondary vocational teachers,so as to find out the problems existing in the training in time and realize the promotion of construction and improvement,has become the focus of improving the training work of secondary vocational teachers and optimizing the quality of training.The effect evaluation index system for teacher training secondary vocational education is constructed according to Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model,Guskey Teacher Professional Development Evaluation Model and training transfer theory,by analyzing domestic and foreign literatures,relevant policy documents and interview result,and being revised based on expert consultation,which includes the links of before training,during training and after training.And the evaluation index system is verified.The evaluation index system consists of training reaction,learning effectiveness,behavior application,organizational change,student development five first-level indicators,ten second-level indicators,and thirty-four third-level indicators.On this basis,Yaanp software is used to calculate the weight of each indicator through the analytic hierarchy process.Among them,the weights of first-level indicators are successively behavioral application,learning effectiveness,student development,training reaction and organizational change.Finally,the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to carry out an empirical study on the training effect of the national training and provincial training programs in Guangdong province.The result shows that the overall effect of the national training and provincial training programs in Guangdong Province is good.More specifically,the learning effectiveness scores high,followed by the behavior application,and the score of student development,training response and organizational change is poor.It further shows that there still exist problems such as insufficient satisfaction of teachers,inadequate application of the training content and poor effect of training transfer.And the cause analysis is conducted from the education administration department,training department,schools and participating teachers.Based on the above evaluation result,combined with the expert interview,from the perspective of the education administration department,training department,schools and participating teachers four related subjects,this paper proposes the corresponding strategies to improve the effectiveness of training: strengthen the system guarantee,refine the training system;optimize training design and improve training quality;enhance organizational support and create a good atmosphere;clarify the purpose of training and promote professional development.
