Nowadays,with the development of the times,innovative talents play an increasingly important role in society.The key to innovative talents lies in creative thinking,and cultivating people’s creative thinking has become a problem that the entire society needs to consider.As a subsystem of serving society,education should also bear this responsibility.Early childhood is a critical period for the development of human creative thinking.If appropriate guidance is given during this critical period,it can help children establish a sense of innovation and develop innovative thinking from an early age.Art is one of the ways to cultivate creative thinking.This study combines Orff music teaching with children’s creative thinking to explore the implementation effect of Orff music teaching on improving children’s creative thinking horizontally and vertically.This study first used literature review to review the teaching of Orff music,the cultivation of creative thinking,and related research overview,and defined the concepts involved;Secondly,in the early stage of the study,observation was used to investigate the creative thinking teaching strategies of kindergarten teachers in Orff music teaching,and the problems found in the research were analyzed.It was found that there are currently problems such as story situations that limit children’s imagination,single types of questions,similar improvised works,and insufficient refinement of presentation elements.Furthermore,it was proposed to scientifically set teaching situations,be good at asking multiple types of questions Strategies such as improving teacher literacy and establishing multiple evaluations;Finally,in the implementation of the strategies,experimental education and observation methods were used to explore the implementationeffects of the four strategies mentioned above.Practical teaching was carried out in two large classes of kindergarten.Orff music teaching was adopted in both the experimental and control classes,and teaching strategies were used in the experimental class,but not in the control class.During the implementation process,software such as EXCEL and SPSS were used to statistically and quantitatively analyze the pre test and post test data collected in educational experiments,and qualitative analysis was conductedon the performance of young children using observation methods.After nearly three months of systematic intervention,both the experimental class and the control class adopted Orff music teaching.When the experimental class adopted teaching strategies and the control class did not adopt teaching strategies,the following results were obtained:(1)Compared with the pre-test,the post-test of creative thinking in the experimental class and the control class improved(2)There was a significant difference in the level of creative thinking in the experimental group before and after the test.The flexibility,flexibility,uniqueness and refinement of creative thinking in the post-test were significantly higher than those in the pre-test;(3)Compared with the experimental group,the control group showed no significant improvement in the flexibility,uniqueness,and refinement of creative thinking in the post test,but there was a significant difference in flexibility.
