Vocational education has received extensive attention from the society in recent years,and the state has successively issued relevant documents to promote the development of vocational education and promote the reform of vocational education teaching methods.The reform of teachers,teaching materials and teaching methods,that is,the "three educations" reform as the "last mile" for the implementation of high-quality development of vocational education,has always focused on the goal of "cultivating people with virtue and cultivating both virtue and technology",innovates teaching models and methods,and cultivates highquality workers and technical skills.In this context,the author found through literature that case teaching is an effective teaching method to cultivate students’ abilities.Based on constructivist learning theory,humanistic learning theory and educational goal theory,this paper takes Guangzhou F Tourism Vocational School as an example,and uses case study method and interview method to explore the impact of case teaching on students’ comprehensive analysis ability.This paper sorts out the literatures on the concept,characteristics,classification and role of cases.literature on the concept,classification and role of case teaching;Literature on the impact of case studies and case teaching on comprehensive analysis ability.According to the connotation of case teaching and comprehensive analysis ability,the measurement indicators of case teaching(including inspiration,teaching objectives,real cases,problem situations,teacher and student analysis and theoretical application)and the measurement indicators of comprehensive analysis ability(including understanding,analysis,judgment,comparison,induction,generalization,decision-making,expression,imitation and solution ability)were extracted,and the interview outline was designed from four majors(high-star hotel operation and management,tourism service and management,Western Beverage Operation and Management and Tea Art and Tea Marketing)and three grades(Secondary 1,Secondary 2nd and 3rd Secondary Vocational Students)interviewed some students to discuss the impact of teachers’ use of case teaching on students’ comprehensive analysis ability in the secondary vocational tourism course.Through research and analysis,the research conclusions of this paper are as follows: first,the essential attributes of cases have the most prominent positive impact on students’ comprehensive analysis ability;second,the positive impact of case teaching on students’ comprehensive analysis ability focuses on the case discussion process;third,the improvement of theoretical application ability needs to play a role in practice;fourth,there are differences in the impact of case teaching on students’ comprehensive analysis ability from different grades and professional perspectives,that is,through case teaching,the comprehensive analysis ability obtained by senior students is higher than that of younger students,and the comprehensive analysis ability obtained by tourism service and management students is higher than that obtained by high-star hotel operation and management major,Western-style beverage operation and management major,and tea art and tea marketing major;fifth,fulltime teachers of mid-career tourism are good at obtaining high-quality cases from multiple channels.Finally,the article puts forward corresponding suggestions according to the conclusion.This paper enriches the application research of case teaching in secondary vocational tourism courses,and provides reference for secondary vocational tourism teachers to use case teaching.
