Improving the quality of preschool education in an all-round way has become the key task of preschool education development,and the key to improving the quality of preschool education is preschool teachers.Researchers believe that teachers’ field teaching knowledge(PCK)is unique to them and the core of teachers’ professional development.Therefore,this study aims to understand the current situation of preschool teachers’ teaching knowledge in the field of science? What problems can be found from the current situation? What are the strategies to improve the development of preschool teachers’ teaching knowledge in the field of science? Are these strategies effective?The study took 64 front-line teachers from F Kindergarten in Y area as the research object,used the PCK evaluation tool for preschool teachers developed by the Early Mathematics Program of Ericsson College in Chicago,USA,combined with the questionnaire and the coding manual to evaluate the current situation of teaching knowledge in the scientific field of the research object,and used SPSS.25 to analyze the correlation and consistency of the evaluation data after the evaluation;This study takes front-line teachers as the research object,so the comprehensive application ability of teaching knowledge in the field of science can better reflect the level of teachers’ teaching knowledge in the field of science,and it is easier to find problems.Therefore,the author recorded 24 teaching activities in the field of science on the basis of obtaining the consent of each research object,and transcribed them into text,which serves as the basis for the evaluation and analysis of the application level of teaching knowledge in the field of science of F kindergarten teachers;In order to solve the existing problems,this study also carried out an action study to improve the teaching knowledge of preschool teachers in the scientific field.The research results are as follows:(1)The scientific field teaching knowledge of kindergarten teachers in F Kindergarten is at the middle level in the two data evaluations,that is,"general and limited understanding".Although the level of scientific field teaching knowledge of kindergarten teachers in F Kindergarten is on the rise,the overall basic level remains unchanged;However,the comprehensive application level of preschool teachers’ teaching knowledge in the field of science has been significantly improved,and the three aspects of teaching knowledge in the field of science(knowledge of science,knowledge of children,and knowledge of teaching methods)in teaching activities have been basically improved.(2)Kindergartens need to create a research field for preschool teachers’ professional development,and help teachers develop their own professional development related to the scientific field,with reading and scientific research as the main line.Through self-reading and group discussion,the professional knowledge and ideas of preschool teachers in the scientific field are improved;Through participating in the writing of scientific papers,research projects,teaching competitions and the practice of class-based courses,we can improve the professional practice and reflection ability of preschool teachers in the field of science.(3)Kindergartens need to create research and training fields for peer assistance for preschool teachers,so that teachers can form a community of professional learning.With the characteristic teaching and research activities of "daily research","intra-group teaching and research","whole-garden teaching and research","blue-green pairing" and "inter-garden teaching and research",various discussions in the field of science are carried out to form a point-to-point and comprehensive teaching and research system,and constantly rely on the strength of peers to gain professional growth.(4)Kindergartens need to create research and training fields for preschool teachers to help teachers gain the high-level leadership of preschool education experts.With the "school-based research and training" project as the carrier,teachers invite experts to conduct online or offline professional guidance,and in the form of expatriate learning,send backbone teachers to various places or use various online platforms to learn professional theories and excellent experience from experts.Finally,the author also reflected on the whole research,summarized the improvement of the professional ability of kindergarten teachers in F kindergarten with data,and also reflected on the shortcomings of the research.
