| The scientific moral education in modern China draws on the western ideas of governance and mainly develops the idea of governance with normative ethical framework as the core.In the era of predictable results,the code of scientific ethics can indeed play a normative role,but under the trend of technological fuzziness,the code of scientific ethics presents the characteristics of lag,which is difficult to provide effective guidance for researchers in the highly developed information technology society.Therefore,this study jumps out of the category of normative ethics and tries to explore the cognition level and cultivation path of scientific virtues of academic postgraduates from the perspective of virtue ethics,so as to better cope with potential risks and ethical challenges in the future.By summarizing relevant literature on scientific virtue,it can be found that many scholars define scientific virtue as the personality or character characteristics of scientific researchers(including "fringe scientists").This study agrees with this view and begins to explore the content and classification of scientific virtue along this line of thinking.Based on the classification of virtues proposed by Cinzia Daraio and Alessio Vaccari and the six virtues(VIA-CS)proposed by positive psychology,this study divides scientific virtues into four categories: wisdom and knowledge,courage,humanity,justice and temperance.Based on the translation and revision of the foreign language questionnaire,the paper distributed the "Questionnaire on the cognition level of scientific Virtue of academic postgraduates" to understand the cognition level of scientific virtue of academic postgraduates in China.After sorting and analyzing the data,it is found that the overall cognition level of scientific virtues of academic postgraduates is relatively high,but there are still some problems,such as inconsistency between cognitive level and implementation behavior,conflict between scientific research ideal and practical interest,lack of creativity and practical wisdom,lack of recognition of scientific research evaluation standards,etc.Based on the existing data and relevant literature research,it is found that the factors affecting the cognition of scientific virtue of academic postgraduates are as follows: the deficiencies of scientific moral education,the existence of utilitarian value orientation,the neglect of innovative thinking training,the lack of self-quality and external support,and the obstacles in the implementation of scientific evaluation standards.On the basis of thinking and tracing the causes of the cognition of scientific virtue of academic postgraduates,the author puts forward a series of practical approaches from the perspective of scientific virtue education to improve the cognition level of scientific virtue of academic postgraduates.There are five ways,including making up for the deficiencies of scientific moral education,creating a co-education environment of multi-efforts,stimulating innovative thinking,cultivating practical wisdom,and improving the scientific research evaluation mechanism. |
