| Deep learning ability,as one of the core qualities,has become an important topic in the field of talent competition in the 21 st century.However,in current teaching practice,there are still phenomena such as unreasonable teaching design steps,unclear goals for deep learning,and a lack of various evaluation tools,which greatly reduce the effectiveness of improving deep learning ability to a certain extent.At present,most classroom improvement paths of deep learning ability take traditional teaching design as the framework,that is,taking teaching material knowledge as the teaching objective,and on this basis defining established teaching activities and evaluation methods.This process does not explicitly take deep learning as one of the teaching objectives,nor does it implement it in the whole teaching process.Students still regard the content of the textbook as their goal.When the amount of knowledge is overloaded,it is difficult for them to fully digest the core knowledge points,thus lacking a solid understanding foundation for multi-level and multi-dimensional deep learning.Designing teaching activities precedes determining evaluation tools,making it difficult to design and intervene in teaching activities based on students’ achievement of deep learning goals.The evaluation tool of deep learning is based on diary,so it is necessary to broaden the enhancement path of deep learning ability according to the characteristics of visualization.The advantages and potential of backward design as a new design model in enhancing deep learning ability are highlighted.Guided by teaching objectives,the design of teaching activities is rearranged,with the expected objectives determined first,evaluation tools selected,and finally teaching activities designed.Include deep learning as a dimension of understanding in the expected goals,and specify the teaching tasks to be achieved;Clear the level division of deep learning dimension,establish the scale and framework design of deep learning evaluation tools;Following the design principles of WHERETO teaching activities,it provides an important basis for the formation of deep learning activities in actual classrooms.The solutions are as follows:(1)How to develop a deep learning ability improvement path based on backward design?(2)How to apply mind mapping as one of the evaluation tools to path design based on backward design?(3)How to verify the effectiveness of the deep learning ability improvement path based on backward design?On the basis of literature review,this study first summarizes the relevant research on the enhancement pathways of deep learning ability,and summarizes the commonalities,differences,and shortcomings of the current enhancement pathways.Secondly,after in-depth analysis of the concept and implementation strategies of outdated design,key points that can promote deep learning for college students at each stage were identified,and existing improvement paths were sorted out to integrate an effective path to improve deep learning ability.Finally,through the equal group experiment,the designed and developed promotion path is applied to the actual classroom.The research results indicate that the path of enhancing deep learning ability based on backward design can improve the deep learning level of college students to a certain extent.The research results are reflected in the following aspects:from the perspective of backward design,the path to improve deep learning ability is developed,which fills the shortcomings of traditional instructional design in improving deep learning ability,and provides a new direction for teachers to design courses;The addition of mind map as a visualization tool expands the selection range of deep learning evaluation tools. |
