Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized in public occasions the need to promote the red gene and pass it on from generation to generation.Junior high school students are in the "jointing and booting stage" of their lives,which is the future of our country and the hope of our nation.However,in existing research,the main inheritors of the red gene are the military,college students,and party members and cadres,relatively neglecting the middle school student population.The course of ideological and political theory is a key course for cultivating morality and cultivating talents.As a compulsory ideological and political course in the compulsory education stage,the course concept of "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior high school is similar to the red gene.Therefore,using the course of "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior high school to help students inherit the red gene can achieve a win-win effect.This study defines and sorts out the relevant concepts,characteristics,origins,and values of the red gene,and uses questionnaire survey and interview methods to summarize the practical difficulties faced by students in the process of inheriting the red gene in the current junior high school "Morality and Rule of Law" course,as well as to deeply analyze the root causes of these problems.The empirical investigation results indicate that there are positive aspects in promoting the inheritance of red genes among students in the current junior high school "Morality and Rule of Law" course.However,there are still issues that need to be further deepened in the understanding of red genes among junior high school students,further improved in the reserve of teachers’ red theoretical knowledge,further innovation in the teaching methods of using red genes,and further strengthening of school support for red education.Based on the research results and analysis of the reasons,specific paths are proposed to promote students’ inheritance of the red gene in the teaching of "Morality and the Rule of Law" in junior high school from four dimensions.Firstly,from the perspective of the educational subject: strengthening the construction of the teaching staff and improving teachers’ educational and teaching abilities;Secondly,from the perspective of educational objects,establish correct concepts and enhance the educational value of the red gene;Thirdly,from the perspective of educational content: optimizing red resources and enriching educational and teaching content;Fourthly,from the perspective of educational methods: innovating the carrier of red genes and constructing a threedimensional model of practical teaching.By focusing on these four aspects,we aim to effectively promote the inheritance of the red gene among junior high school students.Overall,this study focuses on discovering problems,analyzing and solving problems.Based on both theoretical and empirical dimensions,it investigates how to promote students’ inheritance of the red gene in the teaching of "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior high school.The aim is to enrich the teaching content and methods of "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior high school under the guidance of new curriculum concepts,promote its effective implementation,and enhance the effectiveness of students’ inheritance of the red gene and provide new ideas for the inheritance research of red genes among junior high school students in the future. |
