In recent years, the problem of domestic aging has become increasingly prominent, and the increase in the proportion of "4-2-1" families has an impact on the traditional family pension model, and the burden of pensions continues to increase. At the same time, the development of social economy has enabled more elderly people to obtain basic material life security. The demand for elderly care has gradually increased from the material level to the spiritual level, and cultural elderly care has emerged as the times require.Elderly care institutions have developed for a long time in China, and they are the main force to share the pressure of providing for the elderly. With the improvement of institutional facilities and personnel quality, the elder care needs of institutional elders have changed from solving pension problems to enjoying institutional retirement life, but the service focus of some elderly care institutions is still on life care, ignoring the spiritual and cultural needs of the elderly, and institutional cultural elderly care services are lacking. In this context, research on the social work services of elderly care institutions from the perspective of cultural endowment care has important practical significance for improving the institution’s cultural endowment service system and improving the quality of life for the elderly within the institution.Based on the perspective of cultural old-age care, this research studies the social work services of Hangzhou X Welfare Institute, and collects data by comprehensively using questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview method.By referring to relevant cultural pension literature and existing practice explorations, the institutional cultural pension is reduced to four dimensions of "teaching in old age, learning in old age, doing something in old age,and having fun in old age" and conducting research based on this.It is found that Social work intervention institutions have the following service dilemmas: First, the lack of awareness of cultural elderly care in institutions hinders the development of cultural elderly care and social work intervention;second, the lack of service models increases the burden on social workers;third, the construction of institutionally professional talent team is not in place, and the coordination between departments is not good.Based on the above findings, this study puts forward corresponding countermeasures, including: based on the professional advantages of social workers, promote the formation of "cultural pension" awareness for institutional elders;actively play the multiple roles of social workers, and address the needs of institutional elders in a targeted manner;Internal and external platform resources to create a distinctive brand of institutional culture and pension;build a professional social work talent team, and strengthen communication and cooperation among various departments.Through these countermeasures,we will promote the improvement of institutional elder care services.
