Optimization Of The Cultivation Strategy Of College Students’ Dedication Value In A New Era

Guiding the whole society to establish good values of dedication and improving college students’ values of dedication in a new era is an important element of the core values of Chinese socialism.In the context of a new era,the cultivation of dedicated values among college students meets new requirements and challenges,and the optimization of its cultivation strategies is a theoretical and practical proposition that needs to be addressed in the context of moral and political education.On this basis,this thesis conducts a study on the optimization of strategies for cultivating the values of dedication among college students in a new era from the following four parts.The first part introduces the basic theoretical foundation for the cultivation of the values of dedication among college students in a new era.It is based on Marxist theory and the important statements of General Secretary Xi Jinping as the theoretical foundation;The historical evolution of the cultivation of students’ values of dedication can be divided into three stages,with “Learning from advanced models and building upward atmosphere”,Socialist Spiritual Civilization and the core of core values of Chinese Socialism;Then,it discusses what is “new” about cultivating college students’ values of dedication in a new era in the light of “New era,new requirements,new challenges”.The second part analyses the forming mechanism of college students’ dedication values in a new era.Three aspects are analyzed in terms of the preconditions,conditions,and mechanisms of formation respectively.College students’ values of dedication are formed by the preconditions based on social needs,self-consciousness,and practical activities,the internal conditions of meeting cognitive levels,emotional experiences,and volitional regulation,and the external conditions of political economy,social culture,educational efforts,and public media,all of which are integrated,and then formed through the interaction of the internal and external environment.The third part analyses the practical problems and causes of college students’ dedication values in a new era.Some colleges have achieved some achievements in cultivating dedication values through curriculum education,campus culture edification,and practical activities,but there are still problems such as insufficiency of cultivation awareness and lack of cultivation contents and forms.The main reasons for these problems include the relatively poor attention from society,the unformed cultivating environment,the shortage of cultivating carriers,and the underdevelopment of mechanisms.The last part discusses the optimization of strategies for cultivating college students’ values of dedication in a new era.In terms of raising the consciousness of cultivation,we can increase the public’s attention and the ability to implement cultivation;in terms of optimizing the cultivation environment,we can form a “three-dimensional” cultivation environment by combining the society,the campus,and the family.In terms of enriching cultivating carriers,we can set up professional cultivating groups,innovate cultivating courses,intensify practical activities,and establish sharing platforms;in terms of developing cultivating mechanisms,we can optimize supervision and guarantee mechanisms and strengthen the material and spiritual encouragement.All these help college students in a new era to form good values of dedication to nurture reliable successors for the construction of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics.
