With the advancement and depth of curriculum reform in 2022 compulsory education,the value orientation of curriculum education has been strengthened.As the key curriculum for implementing the task of moral education in junior middle school,morality and rule of law in junior middle school should pay more attention to the careful cultivation of students and the guidance of correct values.In the Curriculum Standards for Ethics and the Rule of Law in Compulsory Education(2022 Edition),the development and utilization of the curriculum resource of role models is emphasized.Role model resources bring together advanced deeds and noble spirits of various eras,which can effectively contribute to the middle-quality development of ideological and political education at the junior middle school level.For junior middle school students,the influence of role models on the formation of their thoughts and behaviors is more profound and lasting,so we should focus on the comprehensive development of core literacy of junior middle school students under the leadership of role models.However,nowadays,the conflict of multiple values in society has become more and more obvious,coupled with an increased tendency to individualize student development,which makes the use of role model resources in the teaching of Morality and Law in junior middle school face many problems and challenges.Based on this,this thesis will focus on the use of role model resources in the teaching of Ethics and the Rule of Law in junior middle school.First,it will introduce the background,significance of the study and its related concepts,and clarify the theoretical basis and significance of the use of role model resources in the teaching of Ethics and the Rule of Law in junior middle school with relevant literature.On the one hand,the research aims at grasping the distribution and characteristics of role model resources in the teaching materials of Morality and Law in junior middle schools,and clarifying the context for teachers to use role model resources in the classroom.On the other hand,with the help of educational internship,we investigate and analyze the actual use of role model resources in the teaching of Morality and Rule of Law in junior middle school through questionnaires and classroom observation.Combined with the above situation,the problems of using role model resources in the classroom teaching of Morality and the Rule of Law in junior middle school are explored,including the inadequate expansion of the content of using role model resources,the specific way of using role model resources to be optimized,the support and evaluation of using role model resources to be improved,and the poor implementation of the effect of using role model resources,etc.Meanwhile,the reasons behind the problems are analyzed in a targeted manner.This thesis is closely related to the nature of junior middle school morality and rule of law curriculum and the characteristics of junior high school students’ physical and mental development,and proposes strategies to optimize the use of role model resources in the teaching of junior middle school morality and rule of law in order to give full play to the power of role models from four aspects: enriching the teaching content of role model resources,optimizing the way teachers use role model resources,improving the mechanism of guaranteeing the use of role model resources,and gathering educational cooperation to enhance the effectiveness of the use of role model resources.Finally,this thesis takes the lesson of "Live a wonderful life" in Ethics and Rule of Law in the first book of Grade 7 as an example and designs a case study to show the application process and teaching design,so as to provide teachers with reference examples of operation when using role model resources.
