The "double reduction" document includes homework design into the teaching and research system, and clearly points out that the function of homework is diagnosis, consolidation and learning situation analysis. It is one of the means to help teachers test teaching effect and improve teaching methods, and the key to make homework play its due effect lies in the quality of homework design.School-based homework is designed and developed according to the learning situation of our students. It has certain advantages in the level, quantity and quality of homework. This paper takes a high school in Foshan City,Guangdong Province as an example.Firstly, literature analysis is used to investigate the existing problems and causes of school-based homework at home and abroad, and then questionnaires and interviews are used to obtain the basic views of students and teachers of the school on geography homework, the status quo of geography homework, and attitudes towards school-based homework and other data.Under the support of constructivism theory, multiple intelligences theory and other theories,we try to design the school-based operation mode of high school geography,namely,4 modules,3 feedback boxes and 2QR codes. Then, comparative analysis and case analysis are used to compare and analyze the differences in time, modules and content between the traditional homework and the school-based homework after "double reduction".Finally,in order to compare and verify the effect of the school-based homework mode, experimental research method is adopted to set the class using the school-based homework mode as the experimental group and the class using the traditional homework as the control group. In addition,EXCEL and SPSS software were used to conduct quantitative analysis and comparative research on the academic performance of the two groups before and after the experiment, and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)The characteristics of the research area, discipline and function of school-based homework were unbalanced and unclear. If concentrated in the eastern coastal areas, the research subject to chemistry for the most.(2)There are disputes about the time, space, content, difficulty, subject and evaluation of school-based homework.(3)At present, high school geography homework has problems such as single source, weak system, lack of function and weak feedback.(4)From the perspective of students’ academic performance, after the implementation of school-based geography homework, the average score of the experimental group was 4.8 points higher than that of the control group.Compared with the pre-test results of the experimental group, the results increased by 6.073 points. It can be considered that the effect of school-based geography operation mode is obviously superior to the traditional operation mode. This study explores from the perspective of improving teaching practice. The 4+3+2school-based homework mode provides a new model for exploring how to improve the quality of school-based homework, hoping to provide some suggestions for reducing the heavy geographical homework burden of students and helping the implementation of the "double reduction" policy.
