| In the countryside of China,educational resources are limited;some people keep a relatively backward thinking on education and some students have little interest in learning.Therefore,it is an important task of the present rural educational reform to raise the students’ interest in class and enhance the vitality of class by making full use of the online movie resources.This thesis explores the effects of online movie resources on biology teaching in rural high schools,summarizes the application strategies,effectively improved the enthusiasm for biology teaching in rural areas,and offered some new suggestions to biology class in junior middle school in rural areas.In this thesis,we firstly carry out the questionnaire by taking interview with the students and the teachers.We studied how to utilize online movie resources in rural biology classes.Immediately afterwards,based on the survey results and the current situation,we designed some teaching cases and carried out teaching practice in rural middle school biology classrooms;we analyzed and evaluated the classroom motivation after practice by combining five aspects: student interview results,questionnaire results,student performance,classroom observation records,and teachers’ evaluation.The research results indicate that the online movie resources can improve the motivation of biology class in the countryside.Firstly,it is helpful for the teachers to integrate online movie resources into the biology teaching in the countryside,so as to enhance the students’ motivation and their enjoyment.What’s more,students in the experimental class who applied online movie resources reported show that they could better understand the knowledge points,help themselves to learn biology in rural middle school,and improve their core biology literacy and grade.Thirdly,the analysis of classroom observation scales and teacher evaluations revealed that the integration of online film and cultural resources could create a context for students and improve their classroom performance and motivation,especially in the introductory session before class.Based on the above findings,We found that the use of online movie resources increased the students’ motivation,especially during the introductory period.It is hoped that this thesis will offer some suggestions on how to utilize the network educational resources in rural junior high school. |
