According to the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the main contradiction in current Chinese society has been transformed into a contradiction between the people’s growing need for a better life and unbalanced and inadequate development.Understanding and answering questions such as "what kind of life is a better life" and "how to pursue a better life" affect people’s judgments about social life and social development goals.As a new force in social development,college students’ understanding,judgment,and choice of a better life not only determine the direction of their individual life development,but also profoundly affect the development process of society and the country,and is related to the realization of the great dream of building a strong country and rejuvenating the nation.Realistically,the current college students’ outlook of a better life contains both positive factors and unreasonable content,and even some extreme erroneous tendencies.How to guide college students to form an upward,virtuous,and beautiful outlook on life is a major issue that must be answered by ideological and political education in the new era.This article follows the research idea of "theoretical basis-due orientation-review current situation-practical strategies",analyzes the relevant concepts,basic basis,and significant significance of the cultivation of the concept of a better life for college students in the new era,and based on this,focuses on theoretical construction of the due form of the cultivation of the concept of a better life for college students in the new era,and studies and judges the current situation of the concept of a better life for college students and their education,And then put forward practical strategies to
