Research On The Cultivation Of College Students’ Political Identity From The Perspective Of New Media

To develop a socialist culture with Chinese characteristics is to firmly grasp the leadership of ideological work under the guidance of Marxism.With the development and application of new media,the wide and rapid spread of information has broken the boundaries of political identity.Our culture and ideology have been impacted,which has also provided unprecedented breadth and depth for the cultivation of college students’ political identity.New media has become a new variable that affects college students’ political identity and cultivation.Therefore,it is still of great significance to carry out research on the cultivation of college students’ political identity from the perspective of new media and improve their political identity literacy by using new media.Based on this understanding,this paper adopts the research methods of literature research,comparative research,survey research,summary and interdisciplinary research to conduct multi-dimensional research on the cultivation of college students’ political identity from the perspective of new media,and is committed to effectively improve the effectiveness of the cultivation of college students’ political identity through new media.Based on relevant theories and research results,this paper conducts a case study from the perspective of the basic concepts of new media and political identity.Through the research on the current situation of college students’ political identity in Jiangxi Province,it is concluded that the overall situation of contemporary college students’ political identity is improving,but there are still some problems.Among the factors that affect college students’ political identity,the main factors are the new characteristics of college students themselves in the new media era,multicultural values are widely disseminated through new media,and the disharmony of social transformation and development is magnified by the new media environment and so on.The rapid development of new media not only brings opportunities to the cultivation of political identity among college students,but also encounters some challenges,which are manifested in four aspects: weakening college students’ sense of identification with the cultivation content,increasing the complexity of the political identity cultivation environment,reducing the impact of traditional offline cultivation methods,and weakening the authority of the political identity cultivation team.To address practical challenges,this article combines the characteristics of China’s ideological work and analyzes specific strategies and paths for strengthening political identity cultivation from five perspectives.Firstly,it adheres to the main principles of political identity cultivation,secondly,deepens the content of political identity cultivation for college students,thirdly,optimizes the new media environment for political identity cultivation,fourthly,innovates methods for cultivating college students’ political identity,and fifthly,strengthens the construction of political identity cultivation work teams,On the basis of adhering to the main principles,we aim to cultivate a synergy of content,environment,methods,and team through new media,in order to enhance the political identity of young Chinese college students.
