Research On The Cultivation Of College Students’ Political Identity In The New Era

The political identity of citizens has always been a hot topic in academic community.As valuable human resources,college students are new forces to realize the second Centenary Goal and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The level of their political identity is directly related to whether they can grow up healthily,and also has an important impact on the cause of the Party and the people.Therefore,it is necessary and important to study the cultivation of college students’ political identity in the new era.In this paper,the cultivation of college students’ political identity in the new era is closely combined with the new requirements of the new situation and new tasks in the new era.This paper mainly discusses from five aspectsFirst of all,the introduction briefly introduces the research background and significance,combs and reviews the literature results of political identity and college students’ political identity at home and abroad,and clarifies the basic ideas,content,methods and innovations of the research.Secondly,it studies the connotation of college students’ political identity in the new era.Draw lessons from the domestic and foreign scholars on the concept of identity,political identity and the content of study.Thesis proposes,that the main connotation of college students’ political identity is made up of party identity,road identity,theory identity,system identity,culture identity and history identity by using the party’s innovation theory and combining with the new requirements in the new era.Thirdly,it analyzes the value of cultivating college students’ political identity in the new era.At the macro level,it is beneficial for building socialist ideology,maintaining long-term social stability,and condensing the strength of national rejuvenation.At the meso level,it is beneficial for implementing the educational policy,building morality and cultivating people,and improving the cultivation quality.At the micro level,it is beneficial for improving college students’ political awareness,cultivating patriotism and stimulating the struggle passion.Fourthly,the current situation of college students’ political identity is investigated and studied.A questionnaire is designed and empirical research is conducted on the survey data to analyze the basic situation,existing problems and influencing factors of college students’ political identity in the new era.Finally,the paper studies the cultivation path of strengthening college students’ political identity.This thesis puts forward targeted and feasible ways to strengthen the cultivation of college students’ political identity in the new era from five aspects:ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,three-integrity education,social practice,network ideological and political education and college students’ self-education.
